For the last 4.5 months I've been taking between 40-60mg of Hydrocodone (Norco 10/325) once daily. I have a very intense job and I'm freaking myself out about how bad the withdrawals are going to be (don't want to be useless at work). I've come down from similar amounts in the past but my usage was for a much shorter duration; usually never exceeding 4-6 weeks.
Does the fact that I'm using only once daily help my chances for a "less painful" withdrawal? I am being a wuss about this and hoping that someone chimes in to convince me that this will be easier than I'm making it out to be.
I'm also wondering if I should cold turkey from this amount or consider taking 1 10mg pill before bed each evening as a type of taper.
Sorry for not putting more thought in to this post. Just looking for some reassurance that I can do this.
P.S. Everyone talks about how exercise is one of the best cures for opiate withdrawal. If withdrawal causes high blood pressure, and exercising with high blood pressure is generally a bad thing...can exercise be considered dangerous during withdrawals??
