Would taking morphine with hydrocodone potentiate one another make a stronger longer lasting high?
How much of each would be a safe dose? I take 45 mg morphine plugged to feel anything and 30-40 mg hydrocodone to get high.
Also if one has a tolerance to morphine would you have a tolerance to hydrocodone? I wondered about this because i took a couple month break and during that break i used alot of morphine & yesterday i took 30mg hydrocodone and i didnt get that good of a buzz!
Thanks bluelight i apreciate all feedback!!!

Opiates do cause cross-tolerance, the degree of which varies, so yes taking one opiate will raise your tolerance to others. A combination of two opiates won't necessarily be superior to one opiate at an equipotent dose, but some have found it to be more pleasurable. Speaking roughly, oral morphine and oral hydrocodone are equipotent, so 1 mg oral morphine = 1 mg oral hydrocodone. You can combine, just do so at safe doses so that it isn't too much. So don't take your normal dose of morphine + your normal dose of hydrocodone, lower both of them so that the general opiate-effect is not too much. Cut each dose at least in half (since you are combining two opiates) to start experimenting with this combo.

In my experience morphine and hydrocodone was a very nice mix, I probably had 30-40mg oral morphine, combined with 30 mg hydrocodone and a minimal tolerance, came out to be quite a nice feel, I would say they were complimentary. Probably the most euphoric I've felt was on a mix of 20mg oxycodone and 40mg hydrocodone, very very nice.

I imagine that with all of the workings of the receptor sites and their actions, I bet combinations probably fill in gaps and would maybe result in a fuller more well rounded feel. Not an original idea, heard somebody else mention it before and also have heard of many many folks on prescription regimens of multiple simultaneous pain medicines, I know about breakthrough pain, but also know that some of these combinations are not as needed but regimented, so I imagine pain management docs probably find it quite useful for their patients...

I was in a really bad accident and broke my neck, leg, and wrist a few years ago and ive bern having really bad pain!!! Would the morphine hydrocodone combo be more effective than just one or tge other for pain? Thanks for the help sorry im a noob lol
