I'm asking the fucking questions!
Basically I'm 1 week into a dbol/test cycle and whilst doing a warm up set on the pec dec (all benches were being used) as I pushed out I felt a sharp pain in the back of my shoulder. Feels like a ligament or tendon strain or something. Stopped doing my chest and moved on to biceps which was sort of ok to train and did a decent few sets before it started to hurt a bit.
ROM is limited at the moment and very painful to exert any force in certain directions. Pain has subsided a bit since last night though there's no way I can train at the moment for at least a few days.

What do I do with regards to taking my dbol and training? Should I maybe drop the dbol dose to 10/20mg day until I can train again to stop me losing all the weight I've gained (10lb in 7 days) or keep normal dosages? Or drop altogether?

And what should I do about my shoulder? Just wait until pain goes away? I don't feel that its serious enough to go get checked out.

Try rubbing anti-inflam on the injured area... have a day or two off, or do some cardio... IMO drop the dbol until you start training again.. Bloody warm-up correctly next time nolys....

It was during my warm up set this happened lol. Read about it and the pec dec is apparently horrendous for injuries due to the set up and the positioning of your shoulders. Never really used the pec dec before as I usualy just use cables/free weights though gym was packed so decided to use this disaster of a machine. Never again.

Oh and if I drop my dbol will I lose some of the 10lb I've gained in the past 7 days?

Its probably only water weight which will come back when you go back on... you won't ever gain 10lbs of lean muscle in 7 days nolys, it takes some people years... Stop worrying.... At least your new cycle seems to be working...
One important thing you should be aware of when you are on gear, strength and size quickly increase you can have the tendency to believe you are invincible as your strength increases.... You may believe you can lift almost anything..... Please show restraint, because your connective tissue lags a long way behind (months).... Even after many warm-ups your tendons & ligaments will tear if you exert too much weight too soon....

If I could offer any advice from the last 35 years of training with weights, it would be to always take the time to warm up correctly & no your limits when lifting.... Stick with 8-12 reps.... don't be inclined to show off to your mates with heavy singles because once you've torn a pec or detached a rotator cuff etc etc etc, its all over...!!!!

Thanks for the advice gf, reason I wouldn't want to lose the 10lb is just because more of the mental aspect of dropping a lot of weight quickly, decided to just keep taking them and going to go back training tomorrow, I think my shoulder is feeling a lot better at the moment.

As I've not trained in a while will my ligaments/tendons also have lost “strength”? Used to be a shitlot stronger than I am at the moment...

Strength comes from skeletal muscle nolys.... If you've not trained in a while you might get a bit sore from DOMS...

Don't concern yourself with previous strength goals, or try & replicate them too soon...... You are what you are now nolys, follow strict range of motion with control on the eccentric movement & everything with click into place in time...

You got to remember mate, steroids will increase muscle strenght quite quickly, however your tendons/ligaments won't strengthen as fast (not that affected by nearly as much by aas (infact some are bad for them), worse blood supply, ..). Now most people have a reserve regarding tendon strength, however it does any harm to increase your weights progressively and allow your tendons to catch up.

That's what I meant by my earlier post. GF I didn't mean actual strength from my ligaments/tendons, I meant are they weaker now e.g. Will they tear easier with heavy weights or will they be as strong as they were before I stopped training?
What I'm saying is do they lose their ability to facilitate heavier weights with time if not trained?

Really depends on what exactly is wrong. If it's just a muscle belly injury, look ub Bill Stars recovery protocol. If you screwed up some tendon (and shoulders have a whole lot of them) it's going to take a long time to get back to semi normal. May even require surgery.
