Is humor allowed at all? Or will i receive disciplinary actions for posting a humourous remark? Sarcasm is my friend. But I'm not a troll. How far is too far? And whats allowed in that regard?

Should I just keep my instinctively funny remarks to myself?

I've read some pretty amusing questions. And found very few amusing replies. I got the impression that joking wasnt allowed. but more often than not, 1st impressions are misleading.
 
in proper context and certain discussions joking is allowed, usually in the social threads.

we're all human here :)
 
It depends on where it is posted. The focus forums are pretty strict nowadays since they are very much focused on harm reduction so we don't want humorous posts in there that don't contribute anything positive to the discussion, or sarcastic posts that others may miss as being sarcastic which can be dangerous in some cases.

The social forums are more tolerant to humor. Lurk more to get a better feel for what is allowed in which threads and just go with the flow.
 
He probably spent some time on drugs forum where humor is frowned upon. One of their stupid little rules, in which we would all be banned here for, is "useless one liners" and thats having a post thats one sentence or just a few words. You get a cute little red star at the bottom of your post accompanied by a love note that gives the reason for the cute star. Oh and you cant talk about your red star in the thread itself, thats another rule.
