How to test blue pills with lots of dye in them?

So I had a few pills laying around from circa 2007. I never tried them, because I could never test them, they are very deep blue, so all test kits end up turning blue, it is impossible to tell what is in them.
Any ways to separate the dye from any active substance in them?

Yes the reaction should overpower the dye. Plus a marquis is dark purple not blue

Why bother? I would just bin them. When people take the effort to evade marquis tests it can't be a sign of high qulity, also the reaction should be quite rapid distinct bubbling fizz reaction to very dark 'blueish' black.

Ime very dark blue/purple to black very quick reaction for confirmed mdma powder.
This was over 15 years ago, the fast reaction is rare in pills but when it does happen you will be a happy camper! :D

What's the stamp on the press if you don't mind me asking? I'd actually love to see a pic of them. It's always pretty cool getting to see older pills. Props for being able to hold onto them for 7 years.
