how to tell if your high vs stoned

"High" is a term used for a lot of drugs, not just pot.
e.g. "I got high on cocaine, then I got high on pot."

"Stoned" is reserved for being "High" on pot.
e.g. "Man this pot got me stoned."



I don't think there's much else to it.

Heroin users refer to their high as being stoned as well. Basically slang terms are going to differ based on geographical location and socio-economic factors.
 
Notice he didn't say that they said "stoned" in reference to heroin use in Drugstore Cowboy.

How much do you guys know about the dope scene outside of your area let alone your country? Are you really suggesting that different localities and socio-economic areas/groups wouldn't use the same slang terms?

I never said that the movie referenced the specific term I said check it out for a range of American dope scene terms emphasizing the point that different areas have different slang terms.

If I recall, days after I applied I lost internet access for about 8-9 month. I logged on to find a full mailbox chronology of being giver moderator status, then roughly 20 messages progressively getting angrier asking me to do mod things and questioning why I wasn't doing mod things, and then about 5 messages from fellow mods or admin telling me I needed to at least respond or else I'd be removed from the moderator club, and finally being stripped of my title and given BL Crew.

So, um... why the fuck would you look up to a person who for all intents and purposes didn't exist when you began to look up to them? That's for real kind of ridiculous.

I looked up to you as I respected your opinion and valued your input.

There are a handful of quality contributors in CD who are buried under all the rubbish we have to wade through daily. I consider you to be one of those more knowledgeable members who regularly contributes to help better this community.

How about we all try working together to improve the forum instead of calling each other motherfuckers?
 
You can't honestly tell me you expected quality conversation in a thread titled "how to tell if your high vs. stoned"?

You still don't have one single reference to back up your argument that "stoned" means using heroin. Even your great movie reference doesn't care to use the term. Of course I don't believe you.
