Heroin How to purify BTH?

I have heard the way to prepare BTH for IV use is to "purify" or clean it using citric acid. Can anyone please explain this process if it is indeed the way? Including what type of citric acid - 100% food grade? liquid? powder? lemon juice? The BTH in my area is exceptionally nasty and I spend and hour filtering through 91% alcohol soaked cottons several times just to get it safer. I know this is not best but it has kept me from getting abscesses. I need to know the proper process. Appreciate the help!

You would need to perform a liquid liquid extraction.

So you need a solvent that isn’t miscible with water but freebase Heroin is soluble in. Something like chloroform. Maybe ether (not sure how soluble heroin is in ether).

If u have such a solvent then we can instruct you from there.

If not just run the stuff through micron filters off Amazon. This will help with bacteria although it will not actually purify the heroin

Thank you, I'd never even heard of those filters. I will definitely try them. However, I would still like to know how to make BTH less crappy. It's not even smoke-able bcuz it tastes so bad. So was the citric acid thing just an old junkie tale? The liquid liquid extraction sounds legit but as chloroform is not as easily obtainable, I probably won't be trying that.

Yes simply adding citric acid to heroin or heroin plus water won’t purify it.

Citric acid just makes it dissolve in water better it doesn’t purify anything out of it

after seeing some deaths from infections I would never even shoot without using a micron filter.

You’re also shooting solid particles into your vessels that can clog anywhere causing strokes and shit like that. No amount of cotton will remove these particles that’s why you need micron filters. .45 um is a good mesh size
