Those 2 problems are with me quite a long time. Now that i am clean from H and Tramadol (i am now on Bup4mg +Diazepam20+ mg) i cant gain mass and still have anxiety and depression. And i feel like shit. Is there anybody who has same problems, so we can help eachother...??
I am home in my room for about 2 years ,i leave my house only when i must(buy food, take money, go to take my meds etc.).

For gaining mass i use brewers yeast and oligovit(complex of vitamins and minerals), my anxiety and weed obsession wont let me to live normal lifestile. I think ,if i am not so skinny i will have more self confedence... so any contributions to this post will be much apreciated. Thank you all.

Just because you're thin doesn't mean you can't have self confidence. You need to work to get outside of the house. Take baby steps. First, try walking to your front door and watching your neighborhood for a while? Do you live in a good neighborhood? If you live in a place that doesn't have *too* much crime, I suggest sitting outside your front door, on a porch perhaps, or in the front lawn. Even that backyard. Sit outside on a nice day, take a book to read.

If you feel comfortable, take a walk halfway down your street. If you normally drive to the store for the medications you are prescribed, try walking there instead. Exercise will do you good. Work your way up to being able to leave the house for an extended period of time. Then try to apply for jobs. I can suggest being an overnight stocker at a supermarket so that you don't have to see as many people. Clean yourself up, get a haircut, cut down the drug usage and eat healthy foods and exercise. If you keep into the habit of being at home and doing drugs all the time, your body and mind will never change.

Remember, work your way up, not down.

Heyyy man fist off very good advice above and dont worry about being thin! Come on now tht should be the least of your worries, at least your not fat. ;)

The only thing i have to add to what was said above is search the web for some supplements. I always recommend fish oil and a strong b complex vitamin. You would be suprised with a regular intake of supplements can really have a positive effect on your mood, motivation and anxiety. Check it out theres plenty.

O and be for yourself not against yourself. You can succeed you can do this you can do that. The worlds already against us no need to get down on yourself! Positive thoughts always. Great job on quitting heroin and tramadol. Be proud of that accomplishment. Good luck to you sir!

Thank you guys , thats why i am here with you ,i am proud so i will stop wining like a bitch cause we all know what we all went thrue....
I have b complex - brewers yeast, gonna buy fish oil, b12, NIACIN,vitamin C and i am gonna wrote results, just watched some clip saying niacin is very good for depresion... i apreciate your understanding love you guys!!!

I've had some digestive problems in the past that, coupled with an insanely fast metabolism, has kept me extremely skinny.

Have you tried hitting the gym? For men, getting a strength workout will immediately increase appetite at least a little bit, and invest in a weight gainer like Real Gains or Cytogainer - make sure you get at *Least* one serving per day, I went 2 a day plus one extra on days with workouts and it really helped me get considerably less skinny. Good luck!

For someone who doesn't leave the house unless necessary, "hitting the gym" isn't really within mental reach of them.

And whats wrong with body weight exercises, or really anything that gets his pulse rate up? You dont need a gym to do pushups.

^ You said for them to hit the gym--You said nothing at first about doing body weight exercises or anything to get the pulse rate up. :P

But yeah, doing exercises (outside of the gym in the OP's case :P) will probably be beneficial.

Don't waste precious money on overpriced brand-name chemical-filled mass gainers. Investing in a blender, oats, milk and banana's to make your own smoothies does the job far better, healthier and A LOT cheaper.

If you can afford a weights set, get one. Even jst a set of cheap second-hand dumbbells (you can technically do all the most significant lifts with them - deads, squats, military press, bench [DB press], weighted pushup, weighted pullup).
Exercise is an absolute god-send for people like you and I who suffer from anxiety and depression.

Cold showers every single morning upon waking is one of the most simple and miraculously effective methods of alleviating mental and physical ailments. I seriously cannot stress this enough. Look up the health benefits of cold showers, alongside a thread I made on it.

Clean up and sort out your diet. Base your diet on raw veg, fruit, nuts, seeds and proteins.

I speak from experience when I say that it's inexplicably helpful to simply ensure you eat right, exercise frequently and swap your showers for cold ones.

Once you get into the swing of these 3 habits, then you can go on to start meditating and practising yoga which again, are wonderful tools for self-discovery and esteem-building.

I am in a similar position, being a lot skinnier than I would like to be and wanting to put on weight but finding it hard to do so. I agree that most weight gain shakes are not worth it, you really need to eat a good diet that is aimed at gaining weight and do the work at the gym to see the results.

Don't want to seem like I am plugging this website too much, I really have nothing to gain from it, I just believe that a lof of the advice given on it is sound advice that makes sense and is really helpful. This article called How to Gain Weight and Build Muscle has a lot of good tips for gaining weight and building muscle if you are a hard gainer.

Here are a few snipppets from it;

It also gives some information on Testosterone, Growth Hormone, IGF-1, the CNS and Cortisol. Is a really extensive article that makes a lot of sense. Requires a lot of eating though and a lot of effort to stick to it.

I will be starting the techniques and advice given on that site on the 25th once I get my next payslip and will update my progress in my blog.

The regular work outs and exercise will most definitely cut down your anxiety and depression levels, and the food and work out methods on that site should get you bulking up quicker than eating a poor diet with a lot of weight gain shakes, as although you might gain weight using shakes, it won't be lean muscle mass, but rather fat, and I am pretty sure you don't want to be gaining a ton of fat.
