I see the "how high are you" threads are popular. im sitting here in pretty good wd waiting to make a move, figured itd be interesting to see how many other people are currently going through the same shit, as i see many posts of sick people. Or how sick were you the last time you were sick, or whats the sickest youve ever been. If this has been done before i apoligize, i did utfse so i dont wanna hear it if it has been done. I know it still says "greenlighter" next to my name but ive been comin here for a while now.

Ive currently got an obnoxious headache, chills/sweats, annoying unrelentless RLS/Muscle aches and eyes so teary youd think my cat just died. 9am Cant come fast enough

not really sick right now, have been lowering my buprenorphine intake lately, from 4-6mg down to 1-2mg so i can maybe quit, plus i'm trying to stop snorting the shit and go back to using sublingually but its surprisingly hard.
i prolly sound stupid talking about tapering buprenorphine when other people are in heroin withdrawals but i've been down that road as well. got on suboxone because i was sick of being sick all the time and shit. imo, the heroin high isn't worth all the problems that come with it, and this is my DOC were talking about here. anyways been on this bupe now for just over 10 months and things are going better. still miss heroin all the time.

gto some k pins and beer to combat it but its not helping much

i still went and copped a little bit last night not enough to get me high

The sickest I ever got was precipitated withdrawal in an outback. I ate a fat load of methdone and subutex.

Ten minutes later i was shitting liquid, vomitting a fire that clung to everything and sweating like a river.

It was horrible.

^precipitated withdrawal is by far the worst ive ever experienced as well; same dumb mistake methadone+subutex...luckily it was only 4-5hrs. A rough 4-5hrs tho

Suboxone dose down to 1mg a day. Just got over a cold.

Physically I am not sick, mentally, different story.

I feel like shit, my eyes wont stop watering and I'm shaking to the point its dangerous.

So now I know how long my relapses SHOULDN'T be.

Fuck.

what's precipitated withdrawal?

edit:

googled this

In order to understand this you need to be familiar with receptor theory. There exist throughout the brain and body, various receptors that are activated/transduced by certain chemicals, drugs or otherwise. When a receptor is activated, certain intracellular events take place that lead to some sort of physiological action taking place.
Simply put, if you activate the opioid recceptors, you will get analgesia, euphoria, respiratory depression etc.
Opioid drugs are usually classified as Agonists (eg. Morphine, Heroin), Antagonists (eg Narcan), Partial Agonists (eg. Buprenorphine) and Mixed Agonists/Antagonists (eg. Stadol).
Looking purely at opioids, an agonist binds to the receptor, activates the receptor and then pulls out. This leads to analgesia and subjective opiate effects. An antagonist binds to the receptor, but does not do anything at all. It sits there, preventing any other molecule from activating the receptor. Think of a key and lock. The lock would be the receptor. Morphine for example is like taking the key, sticking it into the receptor and opening the lock (activating the receptor). Narcan on the other hand is like sticking the key into the receptor, not turning the key, but breaking the key across the bridge. So nothing else can activate the receptor.
When Narcan is given to someone who is on opioids or who has overdosed on opioids, it will bind to the receptor and kick off all the other opioids (heroin, fentanyl, morphine etc) off the receptor. This will reverse the action that these drugs cause and put the patient in withdrawals so the patient recovers.
[End Paste]

Now since you say that you are studying opioid dependence treatment, you will need to know the pharmacology of the drug Buprenorphine (Subutex/Suboxone/Buprenex/Temgesic).

Buprenorphine on its own, produces no more of an analgesic effect than the equivalent of say 20-40mg of parenteral Morphine. However, Buprenorphine binds to the opioids with very high affinity. It's affinity is even higher than that of Naloxone (Narcan) and Naltrexone. So if a patient has taken opioids, and the opioids are still bound to the receptor, Buprenorphine will displace it. If your patient is tolerant to say 120mg of Morphine, and the morphine is kicked off the receptor and replaced with another drug that gives you the equivalent of no more than 20mg of Morphine, you will see that this is no different than simply injecting the patient with Narcan.

Precipitated withdrawals with Narcan only last 15 minutes, but with Buprenorphine, depending on the dosage, it can last up to 3 days. It is intensely painful and extremely uncomfortable!

p/w is one hell of a ride, walking down or up the stairs seems like an impossible task, legs made of jello, anxiety up the roof, insane RLS but you are so weak and don't want to move, suicide seems like a very good option, can't eat, when going to cop some dope so you don't kill yourself you have to stop on the way so you don't shit and vomit soak he car.

W/d is the worst thing I've ever experienced in my life. I hate it when people say that its really not that bad and it's all about your mind. Well, maybe you're just lucky that its not so bad for you. But it has nothing to do with you being mentally stronger than me. If w/d felt as bad for you as they did for me, you'd be crawling on the ground in pain also. There is a reason there are drugs like sub and methadone. If w/d was such a cake walk addicts would have no problems quitting. It reminds me of chippers saying they are responsible users. Well, every dope addict was a chipper at some point. Good for you that you think you're better than all the other dope addicts out there. Now go die please.

Hot/cold flashes, eyes watery, feeling extremely disgusting, weak/pale/sweaty, runny nose, coughs, hard keeping my eyes open, cant concentratte, etc.

I don't know how I am sitting in class right now. I smoked some weed in my car before class and it just made the symptoms twice as worse, even gave me a racing heartbeat on top of it.

Shit sucks.

its funny how some peope swear by weed/alcohol during wd, and others compain it makes symptoms a whole ot worse. weed ony seems to benefit me on days 4+ of wd, when most of the worst physical shit is wrapping up (taking dope wd, def not meth/benzos which is pry 10days+) and the physcological shit starts to creep up. god bless suboxone

soooo sick. my whole body fuckin hurts so bad. my back and legs have it the worst i just can't get comfortable. im either too cold or too hot (mostly cold) and i can't stop thinking about how the fuck am i gonna get money for a fucking hit.

Reeaaally fuckin sick. It's been over 24 hours since I did anything and the shit I got wasn't that good at all. But soon I'll have 6 of those delicious Knockouts and I'm ganna do every single one as soon as I get them.
