How safe is it to order RC's

I have no idea where I should post this topic as I am fairly new to this site, so I figured the homeless thread board is the best place to put it :)

Lets say I hypothetically want to order some RC's for research use only. How safe would I be legally if I ordered some? I would be having them shipped to a United States state university dorm room mailbox and I would have to use my full real name for the order. Is this a safe and legal idea since I would only be ordering things that are legal to use for legitimate research, or would you advise against this?
 
Don't order drugs to the university you go to. What is wrong with kids these days???

You probably wont get arrested, but you might. That's not the concern, though, as I doubt the administration at your school would see any white powder sold in bags and shipped to you as a drug and you would most likely receive some kind of punishment, not to mention losing any federal scholarships you may have.
 
I'm not sure about where you live, but here - the universities and college campuses' incoming and out-going mail are monitored. I'd watch that.
 
I don't think you'd have an issue, but unless it's a study aid rc you think you need it's not worth it. Legal or not you certainly don't want the school post office finding out what you're using their service for. Get it shipped home, or make a good friend with someone living off-campus.

get a po box at your nearest post office or other postal box renting place, or if you really trust someone who lives off campus have it mailed to them and throw them some of the RC or like a $20 spot to get it for you.. i don't think theres much risk in ordering unscheduled chems in general, just not to your university address.. the return address on it might raise a red flag if someone happened to see it, you could request the sender just mail it with a generic name and addy but dosen't seem worth the risk of getting kicked out of school and losing all you've worked for and messing up your potential academic and professional future if you've worked this hard and made it to university already.. i would give anything to be in a position to be going to a place of higher education and on track to a real decent wage paying job.. (i have multiple felonies that prevent me from getting any federal funding and proboly from getting employed at a decent job if I had the skills and diplomas)

so yeah either a po box or private postage drop, or better someone's house off campus that you trust not to burn you and rip off your stuff, maybe order it next day or as close to that as you can and hang with them till it comes..
 
i used to have rc's sent to me all the time at university, no one went through my mail or opened it, i'm sure they couldn't be bothered. As long as the packaging is discrete how would they know that it's not just a letter? I doubt anyone is sitting there checking each envelope. I'd even get it sent express and the office would give me a call to let me know my stuff was in lol. I found getting high in my room everyday far more risky than having anything sent to me, no one cared either way.
 
It all depends on your state laws, the company or private vendor you plan on ordering from, their packaging methods, the legality of the substance you're purchasing, and whether or not its domestic or international.

Its hit or miss and you really should do some research on what you're buying, who you're buying from, where you're buying from, and where it has to travel.

There isnt much more we can do except to tell you to do your research and be safe about it before you order.
Remember, leave no paper trail and always cover your steps.
Get some encryption down, get a safe place to send stuff to (mail box center, PO box, etc etc), and dont get too crazy all at once with ordering.

I dont want this turning into a "how can I safely break the law (publicly)" thread, so im going to close it down, but if you feel that this was unfair, PM me and we can talk about it.
