Heroin how much methadone would make me feel groovy to the point of nodding out?

Highly doubt it...It's just not recreational, ya know? It was developed so junkers' wouldnt jump outta their skin -
screemin bloody murder !! after the first couple times you use it recreationally, the semi-high just kinda does'nt kick-in
anymore & yer' receptors just get bored to F with it . It works great for some people w/ chronic pain, whom I'm glad for.

A lot of people find methadone recreational and it certainly gets you high if you take enough.

CherishLenai-This board is not here to tell you how much of a drug to take to acheive a good high. There is opioid converters you can find on google.
 
Theres a fine line between nodding out & overdosing with Methadone. Just becareful! You havent told us what your tolerance is like, you've only stated a high tolerance, give us a number.

If your one of them, pretty good chance you'll potentually get where I'm coming from...But I'm not the the kind to say -
"told ya' so................No disrespect though
 
The dose curve is very steep with methadone and the drug lasts a long time. Like other's said, it doesn't lend itself to abuse very well and you should be using an opiate converter to figure out how much "you personally" need to take. Someone who eats e.g. 100mg of oxycodone a day will need a lot more methadone than a naive user.

For naive users I reccomend no more than 2.5mg. Otherwise, use a dosage converter and round your doses down. You can always take more but you can't ever take less. Methadone is more than just an opiate - it is a NMDA blocker too which synergizes with the opioid effect.

Closing this because nobody will be able to answer. Again, be very careful with methadone - lots of people have overdosed on it before. Do not mix it with alcohol, benzos, barbs etc.
