My main opiate is oxy (codone and contin) but I take codeine phosphate 30mg's 3 or 4 at a time pretty frequently both to potentiate the oxy and to stave off withdrawal if I run out of oxy.
Problem is I hate that nasty-ass codeine itch. And it makes my eyelid swell up so my eyes look sunken in and I feel sick and get low blood pressure. This happened severely enough that I needed medical attention once. They basically gave me IM antihistamines and IV fluids.
My Benadryl says it lasts 8 hours and that you can take up to 3 a day. Is it dangerous to double up? Or even more?
