How many people get withdrawals from literally 1 use of opiates?

Im not talking about codeine Im talking about morphine, hydros, poppies, etc.
I don't touch poppies anymore but just got done getting through 2000mg of morphine.

The FIRST time I took it, the next day I got cold shivers and minor back pains.
So naturally I wait like 3 days (for wds to go away) then take it again. Then like clockwork they come again, so I take another 150mg morphine to push them off till next day.

I knew the wds would be a joke from that amount (compared to what I have dealt with in the past) but I can not figure out how ANYONE recreationally uses strong opiates. (like for fun and not to avoid wds)

Seriously, anytime I touch any of this shit I want to laugh. I love opiates but I'm about to swear them out of my life because they're soo hard to use in moderation (when not used medically).

Maybe this is why their illegal in the first place? Just curious how many people avoid opiates all together because of this?

I did them everyday for months and when I quit cold turkey, I never got WD's. That just doesn't seem normal to get them after 1 time. It could be that your body was just so used to being happy and pain free that when it stopped, your body didn't like it and you experienced pain. It may not necessarily be WD's.

I'd say almost no one gets w/ds from one opiate use.

When I first started using opiates I dont remember this ever happening either.

I didnt notice it untill AFTER I was hooked for 3 years and stopped, then started redabbling in other opiates.

It almost seems as if my receptors were permanently altered. With meth your body actually starts to produce MORE adrenal receptors so after you stop your body becomes more sensitized to the affects of adrenaline/norepinephrine.

So when you react to fear or anxiety its at a documented higher state of arousal then before, this is also why so many people commonly develop panic disorders and anxiety disorders when they stop meth.

I just never read anything about opiate receptors but from personal use it seems you become more and more sensitized to withdrawls on lower doses.

I think this is also why people say withdrawals are worse and worse the second and third times around.
But if I were to drink a cup of poppy tea tonight I[/B could guarantee you I'd[/B be a bit more achey tommorow, a bit more tired, a bit more anxious, and all those minor systems associated with wds. (well it wouldnt be tommorow wds wouldnt start till later that night or the next day)
This never use to happen so Im assuming opium receptors multliply overtime the same way adrenal receptors do.

No SWIMming Here -BL.

Yep thats another pretty logical assumption to look at. But when it happens swimusually will ask himself "is this just what normal feels like?" and swims answer is always no lol

idk

Sorry no SWIM here as Bob has already corrected your other post. Also, if you have done it before for a long time and then quit and possibly gone through WD's, then maybe your body is automatically going into WD's because it is remembering what happened the last time you had to go without it.

I wouldn't be surprised if chronic high dose use of opiates for a fairly long time (years??) could cause this to happen. I've heard some people say that they got withdrawals after just 1 use.

I literally just realized that about the swim thing lol. I hate using it so Im happy now actually. Just the whole "body remembering" things seems a little fuzzy of an idea for me to wrap my head around.
I guess its possible but it feels like legit withdrawals, not really like a placebo of any sort.

Ok yep this is what I was looking for.

I guess then my question may have been originally designed for other long term users. I remember when I first started years ago I could go for like a month and just stop and not have this happen, but now if I plan to do it even ONE TIME I'm ordering Kratom beforewards to hault the wds from just one dose.

Its really starting to kill that virgin attraction I had towards opiates, like I can still enjoy them but if Im prepping for wds just because I plan on using them once it really becomes aggravating. At least someone has heard of it though which is good.

Receptors. People have different amounts, thus react differently. Can range from flu-like symptoms, mild to worse, as far as I know.

So Id be so curious now if most of the variations between one users experience to another is soley related to the amount/types of receptors they have.
Like maybe certain people dont like pot because they have more adrenal receptors which will make them react more paranoid to outside stimuli.

AND, if recepts can change (die off or multipy) then that would say our drug preferences over a large scale of time would always be changing. Which is true in my case.
I went from being an adrenaline junky (speed, meth, x, coke) to being a nod junky (opiates). I really dont consider myself a junky cause I dont use that much but just for comparison sake.

I'll attest to the "body remembering" thing. I used to never get wds. I could use as much as I wanted, however much I wanted. It was like this for a while, but obviously, it couldn't last forever. Eventually, I started to get them, and eventually, they got terrible. Well, about two years ago, I made it two months with nothing. I felt so good, it was ridiculous. Then, on my 60th day, I celebrated (I know, the worst thing I could ever have done... now look where I am) by shooting an 80. I got so high, it was incredible. But the next day, after 60 days of no opiates, and only one 80, I felt like shit. I mean, it wasn't like full blown wds and it only lasted a few hours, but still, it was definitely noticable, especially when I used to NEVER get them.

Yes, the reason you're experiencing w/d so quickly is because it's MORPHINE.

Morphine is the absolute worst for bringing about w/d symptoms. The first time I did it, I had maybe 30-60mg 2 days in a row and the day after I had a crucial headache, back pain and restless legs. It sucked ass. And the 2nd time I did it I threw up twice. It's a very raw drug and makes me place more faith in what can be achieved with synthetic drugs because face it, most opiods don't leave you punching your legs and taking hot baths after they wear off. :P

Im going through H wds now. After only 7 days or so of using. The wds are not really bad but still fuckin annoying. My whole body is craving for more but I guess it's a good thing I dont have any money
