just wondering... across the drug scene, how many of you inject?

there is only me who is a full time IV user, while another friend has tried it and well will do it again but rather do it normally... while the rest of my friends just do it normally.

(apart from my group of people who no i inject, everyone else hates people who inject, i don't care about this... but it does my head in that there are so many people who are interested in injecting rather than hate it... i personally think some of the people who seem interested in it haven't done it before because they don't no anyone who does it or doesn't no were to start?)

like they hate injecting, but soon as they find out someone they no does it things change, most of them seem interested in it, i normally get asked questions when someone new finds out... there are only some who just hate it.

is it like this for everyone else? ... well did i make sense on what im saying/asking?

so my question is, how many of you inject and what drug is it you inject?

for me i inject amphetamine... its only amphetamine that i no people have injected, as heroin is a scene were you will not come across.

well sorry if i started to chat on... currently fucked on phet now, hope you understand what im trying to explain and well asking?
 
Never had, I try to stay away from needles. I'm cool w/ railing, smoking, poping, and drinking. But not really into needles.:p

just like me... well it was like that at one point, only a couple outside no i do it.

i guess it would be like this for most people? well do you choose not to tell anyone? would it change things if you told them?
 
Never will. The potential for addiction for me personally is just too great.

I would also strongly advise against shooting oxy. This is taken from elsewhere....

I am surely one of the most experienced long-term opiate addicts on this board, and I've been IV'ing for nearly 8 years now. Trust me when I tell you that you are better off injecting street heroin (of known purity) than you are injecting Oxycontin, or any pharmaceutical pill for that matter.

The reason being is that pills are solely meant for consumption. There is no regard by the manufacturer (or in some cases, such as those of abusable pills, intentionally adding dangerous binders and fillers) for making the pills "safe" to be injected. Between the talc and other fillers, these particles can NOT be filtered out with cottons or any other type of filter. The only possible form of a "safe" filter for pills would be a .02 micron filter, which you can order on the internet (Google it). Even in this case, it is still not entirely safe to inject pills. The fillers and binders can lodge in your heart valve and various other places in your body causing, but not limited to, the following:

Stroke
Pulmonary Edema
Heart Failure
Heart Attack
Gangrene
Abscess
Etc.

So that is all I have to say there. Also, if you happen to miss your shot with any type of pill you are 9 times out of 10 guaranteed a very nasty abscess, because the binders and fillers cannot be broken down by your bodies defense mechanisms, thus the area becomes extremely infected and a hospital visit is almost always in order.

I don't understund why more people don't IV their drugs.
It's really weird, social stigma I guess. But, it's really really odd watching peolpe smoke out of a crack-pipe and then make some remark about how they'd never use a needle, etc.

I understand some people have a phobia of needles, fear of greater addiction potential, etc. But basically, IV'n drugs is just a better, more effective & quicker way of getting drugs into your system.
 
I started using needles about a year ago and since 6 months ago it has been pretty much every single day. I used to say that I would never use needles but now I don't even bat an eye. To me, like most users say, it is just another method of getting heroin into my body.
 
Yeah, I inject, if the railroads are clear...perfectly safe given the proper medical equipment.
 
started iving 2 years ago on a very regular basis, cut back to when i only score l. uppers, which isnt a great deal. doc was meth/oxy/morphine...though i comr by the morphine and oxy very rarely, just dont dabble with meth all that often anymore.

still nothing beats a fat shot of meth or morph
 
I used to shoot a lot of coke. Like 8 or 9 years ago, it was really bad. I would do it all night, maybe 5 or 6 nights a week, doing a teener or a ball over the course of the night. This was in Houston, Texas with really good, pure coke. I'm amazed I lived through that time in my life.

I only inject heroin nowadays, and that very rarely. I, thankfully, have come to loathe stimulants. I love opiates, but stick mainly to poppy tea and pills.

But the needle still fascinates me. A couple weeks ago, I banged 2c-b a few times. THAT was quite an experience. 8o
 
My first IV drug was DMT Hcl. I was really against injections of all drugs exept DMT if it's no possible to find in other forms. But i never wasn't afraid of needles.
With DMT i had one of the best trips in my life and i don't regret about it.

But years after, in some moment of my life, i was deeply depressed and i wanted to do something hard and self-destructive, so i got my first speed IV. And i got hooked and i got knowledge, what self-destruction is.
I'm still using some stims, empathogens and psychedelics IV from time to time if i know, that they're clean and came from trusted source, but i usually do not recommend people to do it.

Exept DMT! If one is REALLY want to try this magic drug and if there is no other forms available around - let one think about it without prejudice. With DMT IV - t's just scientific method. Like Shulgin and others used to do ;-)
 
No, can't say that I do. But that probably has a lot to do with not knowing anyone who does... Like the OP mentioned, I think that if I met someone who injected regularly, my curiosity would get the best of me...
