How many doses of Xanax do you take in a day?

Do you guys to take all your Xanax at once, or spread them out throughout the day?

I’ve taken Xanax all at one time a couple of times and both times woke up in a holding cell at my local county jail. So yeh I don’t take them all at once anymore.
