Heroin How many cottons for a dose?

First things first, I know what cotton fever is. I also know if you properly dry your cottons after using impeccable sterile technique (IE. never breaking sterile field and immediately tossing cotton into vile with moisture sucking silica) the chances of bacteria growing are greatly reduced. I've cultured many bacteria dishes and I know breathing too hard can contaminate. But this all aside, my roommate is dead set on doing this for the first time. He used black tar heroin and was dosing each hit at 0.1g. Tar was all he could get even though we live on the easy coast where I know there is china floating around. lol sucker...

The question is this... how many cottons should he use for an equivalent dose roughly. He says he has 10-15 cottons. I am just trying to keep him safe, not condoning this nor am I interested in a lecture or how to give one.
I am looking for a safe number.

It really depends- how big you make your cottons, if you squeeze them and suck every last drop on the initial use, what the purity of your dope is, etc etc.

I use 3-5 usually, but I've seen people use as little as 2 and as many as 10. So I'd just go with the usual rule of thumb- start small and work your way up slowly and carefully

There is no way anyone's going to be able to give you a number with any accuracy. It'd just be straight guessing and speculation, which is why we don't allow threads like this. Check the OD guidelines.
