How long of taking Vicodin before you develop a tolerance?

Hi everyone, long time browser, first time poster. I've looked around on the subject for a while but none of the answers fully answered my question.

I have been using Vicodin and Percocet for a few days and I'm not sure if I have a (very small) tolerance.
My doses were 20 mg Percocet (700 Apap) with 10 mg Vicodin (1000 Apap), dosed am hour after the Percocet. Then the following day, 20 and 10 again, but dosed at the same time. The first time I did it (and dosed separately) I was enjoying an amazing nod. Then the next day, I felt a small buzz and then fell asleep, not remembering the rest of the experience. The day after, I dosed with 10 mg Percocet and 15 mg Vicodin, and felt only a small buzz and didn't sleep. Is this tolerance, or is my experience normal for the dosage? He weighs around 150 lbs (70kg).

How long until tolerance develops? Always quicker than when you want it to.

I know this probably isn't politically correct for a forum that prides itself on harm reduction and all, but you really should cease these opioid experiments as soon as you can.

That sounds like tolerance.

For some unlucky individuals tolerance will develop so rapidly that by the 3rd dosage at the same level it is ineffective. Especially with "strong" opioids like oxycodone involved.

I think you should ask yourself, how long till I become physically dependent?.. I've experienced flu like symptoms for like 3 days after only 6 days of use when I had no tolerance... Since you are obviously not going to stop right now, I strongly recommend you set a VERY strict schedule to use only once every 5 days and stick to it

Uh percocet has oxycon in it right? Vicodin has codeine?
