I know that Post Acute Withdrawal can last for a very long-time but I am not entirely sure about the Physical part I always thought that it was 7 days but recently read that it can take 2 weeks or even longer if it was like HEAVY use.

it really just depends on your body. i would say the physical WD (WHICH SUCKS TONS OF ASS) generall lasts 4-8 days (for me). everyone is different, though. what is your doseage daily? how many times daily? how long have you been using daily for?

seems like there must be things that could be done to speed up the process.
cold showers really do help, as uninviting as it sounds...

but it can take a couple of weeks or more IME. Heroine w/d is longer and more drawn out. most of the synthetics, specifically Thebaine analogs are more aggressive initially but dont last as long in comparison to opiates.

Highly variable due to the huge amount of factors. Length of dependency, the opioid in question, the dose, how it was taken, how you discontinued it, you name it the list goes on and on.

It's not the same for everyone, it's heavily dose dependent too, and withdrawals many find are of increasing severity, so it depends how many times you've been through withdrawal to some extent, maybe. It's complicated.
