Hello BL community. I am wondnering how long yall think one could take pregabalin before risking dependency and withdrawal. I have never used pregabalin before until last night when I took 600mg. I have taken gabapentin before in the past and have been addicted to phenibut before so I am unsure if there will be any sort of kindling effect from those that will transfer to pregabalin.

I have been dependent upon kratom for a long time and want to stop. I'm, currently almost 24 hours without and its been doable with ketamine through the day and pregabalin at night.

Would I be able to take pregabalin daily for a week and then drop it without ill effect?

There is a kindling effect in gabapentinoids. With this in mind I don't know how long you could go for. Regularly, without past addiction to them, (how long, and long ago for that matter, you were addicted is very important here) could probably go a week and a half without an addiction forming to pregabalin. I recommend less than a week of daily use spaced out by another week if you don't want to get addicted again.

But then again, if you don't want to get addicted again, you shouldn't be taking another gabapentinoid daily to ween off kratom, a relatively benign substance in my experience. It's addictive because because it's easy as fuck to get, but compared to full agonists, its like valerian to diazepam.

Try rotating the pregabalin with other comfort meds. One thing that I will forever recommend for kratom wd is corydalis no shits and it's pretty much impossible to be moody because it's a mild antipsychotic with opioid properties. Very weird one.

I was prescribed gabapentin like 5 years ago. Struggled with daily phenibut for a bit maybe 3-4 years ago

I'll try cycling comfort meds as best as I can. I currently have ketamine, pregabalin, clonidine, pyrazolam, hydroxyzine, Should have some amphetamines soon.
I shall look into the corydalis, I've never taken it myself

I recently began to use pregabalin mainly for sleep. It has long lasting effects for me and I don't take it everyday and usually space it out every 3 days because it lasts long enough to make me sleep for two nights but lately I've had to increase the dose from 900mg to 1500mg because I've been dealing with some other health issue while being dropped by my long time PCP. Should I stop taking these doses now or can I get a way with it is I only do it for a few more times without increasing the dose while continuing the 3 day breaks?
