I have a long history with suffering from migraines and have found some relief with pot right as soon as I start seeing the aura to help with sedation and once i start to feel better for the nausea.
I have tried everything my neurologist has prescribed to find little to no relief. I have even gone as far as injecting myself in the ass with toradol/phenergan just to get some relief-kinda sucks having to keep prodding yourself to find the right spot.
One thing I have just started to try is taking psilocybin in small amounts and tried dmt for the first time and for the first time in more than six months I have not had a migraine. This is the first summer I have not had a migraine!

Weed makes the pain worse when I have migraines or tension headaches.

Granted, I've only tried pot as a remedy for them twice, but each time I was so out of it that, in addition to making my head feel like it was about to implode, I accidentally swallowed smoke and vomited after maybe a minute and a half of session.

I have never been high as a matter of fact when I get the onset of visual enhancements like the common zigzag structures. I would imagine marijuana would make any type of classic migraine worse as it acts as a vasodilator, since all non-prophylactic medications aim at constricting the blood vessels around the brain, more specifically around the trigeminal nerve.

I know in terms of jaw pain and headache I find marijuana helps.

That is truly awesome. Those types of psychedelic drugs show such promise for frequent migraine sufferers and cluster headache sufferers! :)
