How does Adderall affect perception of time?

Everyone tells me it makes time 'speed' by, hence the nickname, 'speed.' But Adderall always, always makes time go by super slow for me. Does anyone else experience this?

One hour on Adderall literally feels like about 3 hours. Weed doesn't even have that bad of an effect on me.

Also, benzodiazepines made time fly by. But that is normal, right?

That's The way the drugs work to your perception.

This is the usual experience:
Stimulants = Slowed time due to a sped up perception.
Depressants = Sped up time due to slowed perception.
Psychedelic drugs = Both, depending on setting.

Sense you are moving and doing things faster on stimulants, your perception is that a lot of time has past because of all the activity you did in that time.
Sense you are moving slower on depressants, you do activity slower and you look at the clock and hours have past making you believe that time flew by.

IME time speeds up cause youll do one thing for hours, then wonder where the hours went

can certainly go either way. when you are partying and having fun, time can fly. when you are using it to write a paper, you can finish a paper only to realize you started not 6 hours but 2 hours ago.

this explains it best.
i was actually thinking about this the other day... guess ill have to look into some depressants to make school go by faster;)

or..

You could learn while you are there.. sounds like you are going to be in school anyways..

^^well theres 2 weeks of school left, we dont really do anything anymore cuz all the testing is done and we're turning in textbooks like next week so... ;)

time flies by for me on speed. i guess it just depends what you do with the time
i try to do as much fun things as possible and by the end of the day it seems like it all happened so fast.

took some on graduation day...fastest 3 and a half hours ever haha

on any upper you just need to concentrate on something, commit yourself 100% to something and when it is done and it is three hours later, it will have felt like half an hour.
