how do you take your pills?

when i take a pill, i put the liquid in my mouth and then pop the pill in. it seems like most ppl do the reverse, placing the pill in the mouth and then adding the liquid. what procedure do you use? do you have a preference for hot liquid or cold liquid when taking pills? or do you take your pills with food? perhaps you take them dry. do you take all the pills (if taking several) at once, or do you take them one at a time? do you take psychoactive pills differently from how you take normal pills?

I usually just toss them in and swallow with some spit. If I have a drink around I'll use it but it's really not that big of a deal if not. It's getting to where it needs to be and that's all that matters.
 
I IV my pills (roxicodone, OC, dilaudid). These would be the only pills i would ever IV except for oxymorphone. I don't like to eat pills, especially with opiates because i have to take a TON to even feel anything. But with like Adderall or Valium i just put the pill under my tongue and let it dissolve (much better than just swallowing a pill).
 
Toss in mouth, chew, add water, swallow.

Man do I love picking pieces of hydro or oxy out of my teeth. ;)
 
right, if its an IV'able opiate, I'm crushing it up and adding water. if it's a benzo, sip, pop, swallow. and those are really the only pills I take. adderall would be snorted probably if it was IR, if its ER then see: benzos.
 
usually i just take them orally... but i will snort xanax rather than swallow... hits you a lot faster... i saw some crazy chicks snort hydrocodone... and i didn't have the heart to tell them they were mostly snorting tylenol (acetametaphin) lol.
 
I take my pills, pill first, then liquid...preferably with something warm (I heard that helps it dissolve faster? I take one by one, not all at once. Let's say I take 3 blues, ill swallow the first 2 then chew the 3rd.

My favorite combo to snort is xanax, Valium and roxi. Good times
 
Snorting is a preferred way to go for me. if the pill isn't taken that way i just chew it up, and swallow.
 
xentric87, the bioavailability of xanax is much stronger when taken orally rather than through insufflation. If you want to get the most out of your xanax, taking it orally is the way to go.

As for me i put water in first, put pill in and swallow

we've already covered that tons of times thizz, I think you're always going to have people who're gonna snort their benzos anyway.

honestly I've done it and I feel like it does hit faster, and nearly as hard if not just as hard as orally. I attribute this to the drip being swallowed anyway, but still. its snorting either way.
 
doesn't hurt to say it DP. Who knows, maybe this is the first time the OP is reading it!

As for me Ive snorted xanax and i find it to definitely hit quicker, but i just dont feel that im getting the most out of it.
 
I'm over 9000% sure there's a thread about this somewhere from way back when...

I put the pill in my mouth after filling it with liquid. And sometimes I chew up the pill if I want faster onset. Though I usually crush pills and snort ;).
 
I can take up to 6 bars and not really feel anything but when i snort one i actually feel the calming xanax effect. When it comes to benzos im not your average person.
 
Liquid first, then pill. Same with any other kind of pill (multivitamins, painkillers, whatever).

Relearned my reason why a few months ago - put an MDMA bomb in my mouth before adding water - it stuck to my tongue and burst. Yeeeugh, bad taste!!
