Hey all,

i was just wondering.... do you experience extreme coldness in your extremities(fingers, hands, feet, ext) while using amphetamines (namely adderall)?

Its my understanding that this is caused by the amphetamines causing vasoconstriction leading to reduced bloodflow.

My real question is....HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH IT?
I often experience this while im working on the computer(typing), the cold feeling gets so bad that my fingers begin to hurt.
The only help iv found is washing my hands in very warm water for about 5 mins, but obviously, this isnt an ideal solution...

so.....how do YOU deal with it? :?:?

Thanks!

I use clonidine, and potentiate amps with non-vasoconstrictive drugs to use lower doses.

Is Clonidine an Adequate Alternative to Epinephrine as a Vasoconstrictor in Patients With Hypertension?

Conclusions
Clonidine could be a useful and safe alternative to epinephrine for intraoral block anesthesia with lidocaine in patients with hypertension and American Society of Anesthesiologists class II.

Hmm, seems really sketchy to me, but I really don't like blood pressure meds....

I solve the problem by exercising as much as I can, swimming is the quickest way to get results. If you smoke cancer-sticks (Like I'm tryna quit) then cut back, drastically. Cigarettes are like the strongest vasoconstrictors I can think of from personal experience, besides ODing on methamphetamine.

Try less western medicine to counteract the effects of your western medicine. Drink tea, hydrate, get electrolytes, remain ambulatory (moving around, dont just sit or lay around), a sedintery lifestyle is probably more likely to induce vasoconstriction than cigarettes, not to mention that a sedintery lifestyle due to the modern day conveniences in first world countries, I would end up with a super potent CBD heavy wax extract, inhaled via the vaporized/dabbed method of administration. So get off the couch between commercial breaks, or better yet, find a more meaningful life than one of watching TV all of the time, or remaining inactive, sitting, for extended periods of time, that's begging for problems later in life, like deep vein thrombosis, etc..

Yeah exactly what the above mentioned.

take smaller doses, move around more.

also, try switching to Dexedrine from Adderall, it's less vasoconstrictive.
