How do drugs fit into your relationship?

Im sure this has been asked before but I havent seen it in the time ive been around. Just curious if there are any of you who are with someone who doesnt support your drug habit and how that works? Id also like to hear from people who have partners with the same habits and what the heck that is like, just so I can get a good dose of envy 8)
 
my girlfriend doesn't like it, and she has no interest in doing any drug whatsoever

but she is chill with me doing stuff with mates as long as it isn't something that takes up all my time, and she doesn't like me doing anything stronger than grass with girls
but she knows that at the end of the day its something I do, and its my choice not hers
so basically she just unnecessarily worries about me,

the only thing that bothers me is she seems to think that ''drugs'' are fundementally bad but drink is okay :s and claims that if she meet me now she wouldn't get to know me because she'd view me as a ''junkie''
 
Lol alcohol is like one of the most destructive things you can put in your body...? People are strange. Alcohol deserves its rank among powerful and dangerous drugs lol

Ive always had trouble with sober partners because the majority of my time and thought does go into drugs.
 
My ex always argues with me about my drug use, which isn't out of hand, and she gets drunk every weekend.. She thinks alcohol is harmless compared to everything I do, mdma, shrooms, lsd, and some others. She's turned her current boyfriend into an alcoholic and they drive around wasted as fuck on the weekends. And I'm the irresponsible one for safely using my substances. :p it'd be so cool to have a relationship with someone who is as into drugs as I am lol.
 
Girlfriend worries about my phenibut addiction and starts to worry about my drinking if it starts to become to regular..

Other than that.. we enjoy getting high every once and a while :)

Thizz.. i have that relationship.. maybe one day you will too (but not with my gf cos she's mine! :p)
 
My girlfriend said she didn't mind my drug use, but a couple months later she neally broke up with me after seeing me off my face on meph, was blacking out cuz i'd just done so much and mixed with alcohol. but now after nearly two years she enjoys smoking weed occassionaly and doing some pills. she used to believe that drugs were awful and alcohol is fine but i think she understands how thats how people justify there ignorance. she still doesnt like me doing strong stuff but its because her mother is very misinformed and thinks drugs are totally wrong. (if only her mum knew i was on drugs all the time :P she loves me) if a partner can't accept drug usage you shouldn't be with them, dont change because they are ill informed. admittedly if they just want you to be sensible like mine does its good, she just worries about me dying cuz of the crazy doses i do. she is learning to accept drug usage and has popped pills with me and we always get stoned together. sorry for probably retarded ramble.
 
An ex and I enabled each other. It was a bad deal at the end, but a fun run initially.

That is as succint as I can get.
 
my girl does most my drugs with me marijuana,coke,molly,mushrooms,dmt,pain pills, and benzos but she hates when i shoot heroin its the one thing she isn't cool with is the needle and i understand but all the stigma around the needle makes people who see me as a psychonaut turn and just assume "OH HE'S ON HEROIN WHAT A FUCKING JUNKIE PIECE OF SHIT" and its not like that and people on here know this sometimes i wish my girl would just let me get high until then i have to try and hide my track marks from her :( I long for the day when i can just be open about evefrything in my life without any judging, but the world ain't ever gonna be that perfect til i move into the heart of seattle and find some beautiful friends like me who are open minded.
 
I've dated girls who have dabbled in shit, but never did it regularly especially on the level I was doing it. (except weed) I've never really wanted to date someone who was seriously into drugs...even though I used to get fucked up on whatever I always appreciated a healthy woman

Usually I would keep that kind of stuff a secret from my significant other, I wouldn't like people whos opinions i cared about knowing how often I used drugs.
 
Wellll my boyfriend is REALLY into drugs. I have only ever done drugs with him (except I've smoked some weed). Anyway. I tried drugs for the first time with him (mdma). Since then we have really bonded even more. I don't think he hides anything from me. He doesn't outright tell me everything but he tells me the truth when I ask. he is a lot more experimental - tries tons of psychedelics. I personally love mdma (L) and that's about it hah. I've tried plenty of other things. Psychedelics don't do it for me the same way probably because I have anxiety problems. So yeah.

Anyway, drugs are a great part of our relationship.

heavy cannabis use :) its our hobby we collect bongs also . we smoke alllllottt it doesn't affect our live its just a pretty expensive habit. we always smoke together and it relaxes the shit outta us..

I need to learn how to mix alcohol with weed. I love the relaxing feeling but holy fuck the headache is so fucking bad the next morning. I love the relaxed feeling at night though.

beer n weed is way better .. i dont like hard liquor, beer is just so refreshing <3 and you get a good buzzzzzzzzz

Ha. My last relationship, if you can call it that, ended less because Im a drug addict and more because Im happy with being a drug addict. I explained that I was never going to be one of those self-loathing drug addicts and that I felt no need to change my habit as long as I had it under control. Needless to say my conviction was not appreciated lol
Im pretty convinced drugs it isnt ppl doing drugs that is a bad idea. Its stupid ppl doing drugs that is lol Drugs are awfully good at exacerbating peoples true nature and there are a butt load of idiots out there giving drugs a bad name. Buuuut there are a lot of smart people out there giving drugs no name If a guy rapes a chick in an alley after getting into a bar fight ppl say "Oooo he was freaking drunk!" But if I get 100% on a final exam no one says "Oooo she mustve done a ton of opiates for breakfast" haha

Also, hiding track marks sounds oober stressful, you must be a super sneaky guy to pull that off lol And hellz yes on the heart of Seattle, Im working my way there as well =D
 
My boyfriend and I do drugs together pretty much every single time... It feels weird when one of us is doing something and the other isn't. It's great that we have the same kind of view on things though, we have no issues with each other's vices because our vices are identical :D And we are usually equally willing to try different/new things, but if one of us isn't so keen we usually have a talk about it to see if its anything that either of us may not understand or be worried about, etc. It's pretty good support to have someone so close to you do the same things as you do.

If she found out, she would end it in a snap of a finger... (she hates drugs, and her dads a cop) LOL

Unfortunally, I like the girl, but I believe we are too different..Lying to her is getting old and makes me feel like she doesn't like the REAL me.

IMO, dont use drugs if possible...shit in life would go A LOT more smoothly
 
She knows I do drugs, and wants to try MDMA which is great.

She has been out with me when I'm tripping my nut before, she doesnt mind. Seen me rack up lines of coke and rail, she doesn't care. As long as I don't go overboard and develop an addiction to anything then she is okay with it. I have a good relationship with the drugs I take so I doubt it'll ever happen.
 
My girl does drugs. I introduced her to psychedelics.. We were "just friends", but by the 3rd trip together we got really close.. We're both addicts though and try to look out for each other.
