Cocaine How Do Anti-Psychotics Effect Cocaine Use?

I know anti-psychotics can block some drugs (mostly psychedelics but also stims).
I haven't used coke yet since being on them and am wondering if they will change or block the effects (of the coke)?
I mean Chlorpromazine (Thorazine, Largactil) in particular. I'm on it for severe anxiety, not psychosis so I only take 50mg (as needed, usually 2 or 3 times a day).
 
Reduces the effect tremendously at high doses, may also increase side effects potentially.
 
Yeah possibly it does cause some side effects for me. I do big enough hits when I smoke though so it must be greater than the reducing effects of abilify?
 
Not totally related, but... What about Benzo's? Specifically Klonapins (Clonazapam). I take .5 mgs which are fairly low doses of a weak Benzo, and was wondering what size dose does one need to come down from the end of an evening of cocaine... say about 1 gram over 4-5 hours? Any ideas, or experiences are greatly appreciated!
 
If it's decent cocaine, you may not even need a benzodiazepine.

Klonopin is not really a hard hitter in therms of benzo effects. I'd say less is more, if you dose 0.5mg normally, maybe 1mg would be a good dose. Don't exceed about 2mg or you may black out.

Hi there,

I'm also taking cocaine but I can sleep max. 1 hour after the last line. I don't need any benzo. Even if it's hard stuff and even if i did it the whole night through. But yes, everybody is different, if you really get no sleep take a small amount of Klonopin like sekio already suggested. Have fun :)

I never said that, ik u can get good coke too. I'm just stating the fact that here the coke Is like 20x less the price AND the quality Is super bomb haha.
 
It is awesome, just like i love it. And I don't know what you have against the look of the pictures - i had extremely good cocaine, but powdered at least but at least was like a bomb.., and i let it test - ist was 76 percent pure which is extreme good quality in Europe.

I always buy same stuff at the same place.

And because of sleeping of course I take sometimes I take 25 mg Seroquel, but thats it. Believe it or not.

I know there is good cocaine in peru. But have you read what he had written? Like I have the worst shit ever , cheap and bad quality. like he had just to look at my pictures to see if its good or not.

On the topic, most definitely antipsychotics at a sufficiently high dose will kill the effects of stimulants by blockading the dopamine receptors (that's how they work), magnitude of the effect would be dose dependent - It would still work at lower doses of the antipsychotic, though, maybe with some reduced effect of the stim. Though, if you have anxiety so severe that you need to take such sledge-hammer drugs to control, maybe coke wouldn't be the best drug for you?

(and - I would opine that "cheap, bad coke" is not the worst shit ever - that would be expensive, bad coke. I'm sure many of us have procured some of that in our day!

I know bad cocaine as well, i got it alot of times before i had mylongterm contact now. It is fishscale, very expensive, but we have the opportunity to let drugs anonymously test - and this one was 76 percent pure which is very uncommon and I'm of course high like hell. ;)

What was getting me angry are these so called drug specialists - they now from a view of a small pidture exactly what you have and how high the quality is.

Not trying to offend but the ideas of not a hard hitter and 2mg to blackout don't seem to chime from my perspective.
 
Maybe I'll qualify that statement a bit more: clonazepam is not very potent in terms of anxiolyic/euphoric/intoxicating effects. Higher doses will not neccesarily make the experience euphoric, in the absolute worst case (a total lightweight who possibly has had a few beers too) 2mg could concievably lead to a blackout. Of coursse everyone will respond differently, but I have known lots of people who take clonazepam as an anti-epileptic/anti-convulsant medication.

Clonazepam and phenazepam are actually very structurally similar. That's another benzo that will make people black out well before they reach a pleasurable intoxication - there's many stories of people habitually redosing in the hope of having some fun, only to lose months of their lives to a purple haze. I've hard of similar stories with people who recklessly use large amounts of Klonopin.
