The title says it all.

How can the entheogenic nootropics that we use help us on a healing journey to snap out of the world madness that seems to win.

The media are NOT HELPING.

help us think better about this specialized trip we can take to heal ourselves and friends.

I ask you to think hard logically while the related media light up your senses, emotions and rationality like a christmas tree. Thats why I use them, remedially, and while it looks like youtube vomit, strong interlinking of bluelight with youtube indirectly helps bluelight rise. Think about it.

Cry Like a Man: Fighting for Freedom from Emotional Incarceration

Synopsis:
In this powerful memoir, Jason Wilson, founder of The Cave of Adullam, shares his journey of breaking free from the emotional suppression often imposed on men. Combining personal stories with practical insights, Wilson challenges toxic masculinity and promotes emotional healing by encouraging men to embrace vulnerability. His message transcends race and gender, offering profound lessons on empathy, love, and authentic emotional expression.

Why It's Healing for All People:
The book resonates universally as it addresses the human need to process emotions openly, break generational cycles of pain, and foster compassion. Its themes of resilience and self-acceptance inspire people of all backgrounds to lead fuller, healthier lives.

What is Entheogenic?

The term "entheogenic" refers to substances, often plant-based, that induce altered states of consciousness to facilitate spiritual or mystical experiences. The word derives from Greek roots meaning "generating the divine within." These substances, such as psilocybin mushrooms or ayahuasca, have been used in various cultures and spiritual practices to deepen understanding, promote healing, and connect with a sense of the sacred.

Why is Faith in a Higher Power Essential for Gaining Higher Power (as in AA)?

Faith in a higher power, as emphasized by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), is essential because:

  1. Relinquishing Control: Believing in a higher power allows individuals to surrender their ego and the illusion of control, opening the door to transformation and healing.
  2. Finding Meaning: Faith provides a sense of purpose and hope, enabling individuals to navigate challenges with resilience and perspective.
  3. Accessing Inner Strength: Trust in a higher power empowers individuals to tap into a greater source of strength beyond their own, helping them face life's difficulties.
  4. Encouraging Humility: Faith fosters humility, which is key in recognizing one's limitations and the need for support—both divine and communal.

By cultivating faith, individuals in AA (and similar programs) gain the emotional and spiritual resources to overcome addiction, rebuild their lives, and maintain inner peace.

Just from personal experience, I've met white (and one time a black) identity extremists, a trans-exclusionary radical feminist, and more neo-nazis than I can count who were radicalized by MDMA or psychedelic induced experiences. Most people seem to benefit from them, but some people are permanently ruined by their experiences due to a bad set/setting. Induction of neuroplasticity needs to be shaped, and no substance inherently channels love and light it seems. Some of the neo-nazis weren't even necessarily white supremacists, they just came to believe that absolute power in one person was key, and that Jewish people were behind all evils. The black extremist began referring to me as a "yakubian". The TERFs began to think that it was inherent to men that they oppress, rape, and kill women as a part of their neurological makeup that they simply cannot change, trans women included. These are powerful tools but they require direction, the same way that a car is a powerful tool but without using the steering wheel you're inevitably going to cause some damage, and possibly kill others in the process.

In the past I was much more likely to deescalate situations, but when a homeless man walking towards me threatened me, I chased him with my knife open with full intentions of ending his life, while on 750ug of LSD. Another time on mushrooms somebody was trying to break into my house, I left out of the back door and ran up on him intending to knife him down just the same. I likely would not have done these things sober. DOx, amphetamine, methamphetamine, and 25X-NBXX compounds seem to be the worst offenders with this, at least in my experience, though anything can flip that primal self-defense switch. If I were to be brainwashed into thinking something radical like "all of [insert any demographic of human] is a threat against me", I could see how people become radicalized by these things.

psychedelics and dissociatives are tools that bring forth the dream/hypnotic state where the brain's ruminations and spirit world input become more prominent relative to the real world input, eroding perception with hallucination and inspiration. A tripper, a duster (pcp) they are entering the Aboriginal dreamtime thar Alcohol and Ether more so, too shepherd us towards.

you can either use that influence to strengthen the Reality Dream we are in, refine it, or undermine it.

they tear you down and rebuild a stronger whole, time and time again.

If you don't challenge your underlying erroneous assumptions you are at risk to magnify them.

Suppose a scientifically inclined racist and a racistly inclined scientist both gobble a mushroom, either psychedelic shrooms. through Serotonin, or a dissociative GABA/Glutamate type Muscimol fly agaric.

Dreamtime erodes their waking consciousness, when Jamal walks in, finds his pack of smokes and leaves the less pleasant company.

The scientifically inclined racist says: "Jamal statistically has a lower IQ than us Norwegians, and to me he more resembles a monkey than your do, so i pose he is less evolved."

The racistly inclined scientist however rebuts: "excuse me, but in the past hundred thousand years, our common ancestor had three sons: Jamal, you, Lars, and me, Extra Lars. our ancestors adapted successfully to the land of snow and ice, while Jamal adapted more strongly to the tropics than we did to the cold, and here is why: Jamal had more generations between our common ancestor and him, than we do to that common ancestor. Larses focussed more on cold cognition, Jamals more on hot emotion. Melanin is produced from Dopamine breakdown products, we don't need that extra UV protection so our dopamine declined a bit, Jamal doubled it up and refined the metabolism into melanin. Jamal has had more generations than us so he is more evolved. his flatter feet prove that, more adapted to bipedal motion, because more generations passed between him and our shared ancestor than we did., He is more evolved geneticaly, darwinistically, than we are, in his specialisation, the tropics. He walks in looking for his cigs and you, the less scientific racist Lars, abuse science to laugh at him because of his tropics adapted looks and lower IQ average, While you don't know he's a Jamal or a Jamore. Me, As Extra lars, more intellectually refined than you, see in his tropical beauty and flatter feet a being higher evolved into a wider range of traits than our more focussed adaptation spurt. Airdrop three platoons of us in Vietnam, 3x 4 squads with M16 an M80. Against a uniform Vietcong, the all-Jamals platoon outperforms the all Larses team by stronger instinct, stronger impulsuivity, less detached rationalisation, a wider survival range. But you know what? A half Larses, half Jamals platoon would outperform them all if they worked together attuned to each others specialisations, like how racially mixed soccer teams tend to win. The real monkey here, Lars, is you, generalizing Jamal as inferior, making him and me uncomfortable in my house, while we hotly debate on tropical cubensis about him, he's in the other room dissociatiung on Nordic Fly Agaric, asking it - why you are so cold. His cigarettes, I want him to quit, you kinda like him to choke on it. Jamal volunteered to together repaint my shed, you, prefer trips and giggles with me alone. This is why you sleep on the couch and he in my kingsize guestroom bed. Lars: Jamal would be happier than shit if you decided to split: both of you, each your side, napping on the guestroom bed. He respects you're not gay but just, you'd do it with me without a second thought. The destroying angel is the racism in your head, shall we examine that? Our dear Jamal is a Jamore hoping you'll come around or- he wouldnt be around nextdoor. Jamal and I trip entheogenically, shrooms like LSD and fly agarics like propofol and pcp. We trip for cure, you trip recreationally, for shits n giggles, and want more and more. Withn us three tripping as genuine heartfelt friends, we all could learn more from our combined expertise and experience, and be not two B teams but one A team, especually if we also invite, next time or so, Huy, my Vietnamese friend. What do you say. Lars? Jamal and I are actively giving you time to expand your racial horizons.. isn't that what tripping is for? Fraternizing and unifying more? We can join him right next door. I feel him, he feels me, are you free to.. let him in, for real as a brother in our brotherhood? Trip, with him, share the mattress with him, let! him! in! Are you feeling this? He prays for you, atheist. Think about this while I take a shit. excuse me, put that in your pipe and smoke it."

I am a Marxist and i also love shrooms. I took shrooms for the first time when i was 14 way way before i even knew who Marx or Lenin where. It's not like we had the modern internet or wiki back in 96. I was never bigoted towards anyone but bigotry would seem so stupid on shrooms imo. Same thing with other tryptamines.

On S ketamine i felt very primitive. When i first came out of the deep k hole i was in i thought i was either in Africa or the end of the universe. Ive never had that feeling before on any drug i dont think.

I dont know how right wingers take these drugs without having a mental breakdown. Why would somebody hate someone because of their color or whatever gender they identify as? Bigotry is stupid sober never mind tripping or dissociated You would think that sense these drugs make you question everything that right wingers would realize how stupid they are

Ye i am in the same political camp as the guy above, but have heard of people with the exact opposite political views also having a great time on psychedelics. I think that worldview is a couple steps removed from the trip, but still influences it.

when we speak of mind set, we talk not about what you want to do, or how you wish you appeared, we mean who you are in the sense of what mental emotional and physical reflexes you bring to the psychedelic session which will react to various triggers.

those reflexes are at play without any smidgen or trace of will both in dream and reality.

if challenging what seems false is part of your character than you are gifted with the ability to excape the taint of media sometimes.
BTW I did not look at any of the videos fearing they would be manipulative. Once incorporated into my psyche, I would then have to come to terms with that.
By being my own censor I do not have to think about the content good or bad or good dissing bad, or bad dissing good.

By challenging what seems false over a lifetime, you leave a good trail of thought word and action. Psychedelics are not a shortcut to this but are useful for perspective shifting which alters the way you look at opportunities for a short time.

How can they help us identify and defuse those things... hmm, I mean they can help. But if you're asking this question then you probably don't really need them to, I think this question is constructed a little strangely... People who have these problems generally don't consider them to be problems, and to get any kind of help for any kind of psychological problem, in which I include those particular delusions you mentioned, it's usually necessary to use them with an intention, so it probably won't happen by accident. Although for sure, sometimes it can. Particularly so with the classic empathogens, moreso than dissociatives for sure and probably moreso than the classical psychedelics that aren't primary empathogens.

However the question was, how can WE use these tools to identify and defuse these tendencies in ourselves, so... with the intention to think about the plight of other humans and where your blind spots might be, I guess. Honestly that sounds like potentially quite bad trip territory though, given the levels of human suffering in the world. I think the best way we can use them might sometimes be not to actually take them ourselves but use our knowledge of the psychedelic experience and any insights successfully integrated from some of those experiences to try to dissuade others from dark paths, but honestly I don't know how to do that and I don't know that psychedelics would teach me how. I dunno really, is my answer, I wish I did. Sorry, I think the world is looking a little grim right now in many ways, I feel like I could have tried to answer this question more confidently in the past, sometimes indeed after some kind of experience with one of the aforementioned substances but if I integrated those lessons I've forgotten them or they seem to no longer apply.

Not to say that I'm particularly concerned about the live bomb of bigotry and extremism in myself - or rather, my basic instinct to tribalism, to put it a little more accessibly, IMO. I think I have a pretty solid grasp of the nature of the delusions that emanate from that instinct by now, but I also don't think that I got that from psychedelics or dissociatives.

Didn't watch or even really pay attention to the thumbnails or titles of any of those videos, so if they were particularly relevant to your question, sorry, but I just instinctively feel that to do so would be a net negative in a whole bunch of ways.

good God how high i was, but looking back it still looks pretty OK.

Love you guys for catching the asante rante with kindness.
