How can I properly draw from a glass ampule without a syringe filter?

My test came in and it's the first time I'v dealt with ampules. Am I ok doing it without a filter?

just when you break it,tip it to the side
so no fragments go in

ok thanks, I also keep touching the syringe to the glass on accident, the top is really narrow. Any suggestions for drawing it up better?

just change the needle
some dont,but i like a sharp needle when i pin
