Opioids How bad will hydrocodone withdrawals be after 2 month of use?

Hi, I started out taking Hycodan (hydrocodone/homatropine) every other day and sometimes every 2 days for 2 weeks as prescribed by my doctor for my sinus infection cough. I stupidly kept using it even after I no longer needed it. During these 2 months, probably more like 2 1/2 months, I have taken no more than 15-20 mg in a day (usually all at once) and mostly only used it once a week , sometimes twice a week. Should I expect withrawals? How bad will they be if I have them? I don't feel like I am addicted but I fear becoming addicted and feel the euphoria isn't worth the risk anymore.

Let me clarify, 20 mgs a day of hydrocodone (15-20 ml of the medicine itself)

You should expect some pretty mild withdrawals if any. Just stay busy and stay positive man.

Considering your a part timer, you wont have W/Ds. You only use twice a week and the days you dont use you dont have W/Ds now do you

It takes pretty consistent use to get a real habit going. If you don't feel anything 36 hours later and you're sleeping, I wouldn't worry about. Once you acquire the physical opiate addiction, though, it doesn't take long to get "re-addicted". I'm glad you realize what you're could be getting into, but if what you're saying is accurate I wouldn't worry about it.

I think your withdrawal will be fairly mild, assuming you haven't been addicted to opiates/oids (and by lesser extension, any drug) before.

Answers so far say either no WDs or mild ones. Would this include the flu symptoms/shaking? I can handle nausea and maybe bowel issues with some Imodium but I do not want the shivering and the vomiting.

^ Just take some Immodium and the NSAID of your choice. You really should be fine man.

Hydrocodone was my first opiate...I had been on the exact same dose as you, but probably closer to 5 months when I experienced withdrawals. They were pretty bad. I'm not insinuating you will be miserable like I was...just sharing my experience.
