I have passive homicidal thoughts towards lots of people in my life. It's usually people who have been completely out of line and with me.

I don't make plans to act on them so that's why they're passive, but they are still strong and distressing to me.

What would happen if I told my psychiatrist in Britain this?

I've just come off sertraline and aripiprazole and am beginning to regret it.

Your psychiatrist should be able to discern the difference between normal "venting" thoughts (wanting to retaliate for pain) and truly dangerous thoughts that could suggest real action. If the thoughts worry you I would discuss them with your psychiatrist while emphasizing that they are merely thoughts.
