Do you ever buy drugs from the Ghetto?

Do you regularly have to buy your drugs from unscrupulous individuals who would sell you bleach as meth, for example?

Yesterday I attempted to buy some meth from a dodgy part of London, called Brixton, and was mugged by the guy that offered to sell it to me! He threatened to stab me with a six inch long hunting knife (I was a little stoned at the time and therefore absolutely terrified). I'm sick of getting completely ripped off or fucked over all the time. I wish my friends did drugs!
 
in all my experience, whenever i travel to shady places, for me usually near chicago... although the places scare the shit out of me, i've never got ripped off by the dealers, if i'm doing enough business, i always get hooked up much phatter than i would anywhere near i live
 
Living in Brixton, I get my drugs from there but I have heard many stories of people getting mugged/ripped off from around Brixton’s tube station.

If you want to buy in Brixton:
  • Never give people money if they tell you they are going to go round the corner... It may seem obvious but many people get ripped off that way, the small-time dealers consider it a sport to steal from 'white-bois'.
  • Try to stay in a busy place, the dealers are openly selling crack outside the tube, if they want to take you round the corner they will just mug you.
  • Don't carry large amounts of money or look in any way like you are a 'rich white-boi'
  • Always ask, if someone offers you weed they will most likely have something else. Don't just ask random shady-looking people.

That's exactly where I got mugged!! You actually live in Brixton?! I live about two minutes away from Stockwell station.

Unfortunately, this has happened to me a few times.
 
So if I'm standing outside Brixton station and trying to buy meth, is it okay to ask to sample the drug first?
 
Ironically, I feel safe in Brixton (in most normal circumstances), as there are literally dozens of police patrolling the streets. Brixton really is a shit hole.
 
i been down to the hood once, prolly gonna go again soon i just started meetin people that go down alot. Round here u dont stand around and stuff its all done sittin in ur car so its harder to get robbed, but it still happened to us my first trip down there..we bought the half and some crackhead ass motherfucker just shot his hand in and grabbed it out this dudes lap..fucking gay.

Yeah my advice though is just make sure u got the goods first, if some1 says theyr gonna stab u or some shit just run away..and depends on the person but if its a big bag and they pull a gun make them shoot u for it if they look even a little shook they probably wont do it.

I know this may sound pathetic to some, but I'd rather get beaten up than have to fight another person, so I agree with you when you say it's best to run away. However, I was stoned at the time and couldn't really think straight. I've learned my lesson in other situations though; always get the drugs before you hand over the money.

The only problem I can forsee is if some dealer gives me bleach (you can't really tell unless you sample the powder). Does anyone think this would be acceptable?

I've never seen meth, never asked for it.

but.. I would not recommend asking to sample it, just ask to see it
 
the ghettos in miami usually have the best shit, except for bud and psychadelics... so in short, yes, i do travel to the 'ghetto' even though most of this area could be considered 'ghetto'.
 
Yes, and it's awful. I have never been ripped off though, just terrified that I'd be shot or arrested. It's even more dangerous because I am white and that's a dead giveaway as to why I am in the area.

but the ghettos of america are the place where u can get high quality, 'uncut,' all around great score. guess it depends on who u know, but for hard shit id much rather go to some sketchy ghetto housing than a rural area.
 
That's tight. In Toronto it seems like everyone knows at least one person who is friends with a number of sources. I mean it's easier to buy marijuana, ecstasy, and shrooms for kids through secondary schools than it is for them to go through the hassle of trying to buy cigarettes or alcohol.

That being said: no ghettos for me. I'm as likely to get my stuff from wealthy Chinese in the north of Toronto as I am from rich white boys by the lake.
 
I never usually get any drugs form the ghetto. I have in the past, but I actually got hocked up pretty fat because I knew this kid who was hella good friends with the dealer.
 
Used too daily, good ole west side of Chitown...now that I'm older and smarter (and don't take the drugs I used to) I'm pretty sure I'll never do it again.

Did have my share of getting robbed (twice) getting a gun pulled on me (3 times) and getting fake shit (~10 times) but, never got arrested, so it coulda been worse!
 
i never baught drugs from the ghetto. Baught some off the streets in victoria B.C but far from ghetto. IF you go to ghetto bring a gun. He has a knife you have a gun he will loose. BE prepared for the worst and never have alot of money on you. Or instead of a gun bring a buddy along
 
Nope, I can get whatever I want from friends already so I don't really bother going to the ghettos of Madrid (that aren't really "ghettos" perse, just rough neighbourhoods)
Normally the only advantage of going there is you get a better product for the regular price at which it's sold at clubs/parties/etc - which doesn't mean much to me cause the stuff I get from friends is better than the ghetto stuff.
The only way I could see myself going to one of the rougher districts would be if I wanted to buy a big amount of hash, you get some pretty good discounts from 250 grams on.

The chances of getting ripped off are 0% -> it just takes ONE word to one of the people with "stations" (houses in which drugs are sold, mostly hard drugs) and the junkie that ripped you off gets to feel the chilly smooth sensation of having 6 inches worth of metal inside his stomach. If you're a woman, the chances of getting raped are high though.
I just can't recommend visiting Las Barranquillas if you're in Madrid.
 
Not yet, but I just might cruise by the ghetto(er) part of my small town, I've heard some non-drug-users say there are sometimes street dealers there. Then again, AFAIK there's only coke and some meth up here, but better than nothing I suppose.

The real question will be whether to ditch my car and walk a bit, or just cruise through ... my car overrepresents my social status ;)
