Hi everyone, im completely new to bluelight, my name is junior "for real" lol, im from South Africa. Hopefully there is more guys from South Africa here??
More about myself:
Im 31 years old and lost my wife of 8years 10day ago!!! We where together for 14years! We were always together and did everything together, she was my whole life and i only lived to for her!!!!
My whole life is ruined now! The last month of her life i started taking her oxycontin and oxynorm "she had lotss" and now after her death ive been taking about 160mg a day! It helps me cope and just feel better about myself!
I had a breakdown yesterday and just lost it!!!
My family forced me to go to a dokter for help, he gave me AZOR and PAXIL20 for depression and to calm down, as well as sleeping pills to help me, coz ive about 5hours sleep in the past 10days.
I feel like crap! And mis my dear wife so much!!
I have about 12 20mg tabs oxy left, i dont know what im gonna do when they runout!!!
I might kill someone... Lol or myself....
I joint this forum to ask for help or advice, or just to chat to people who knows about drugs and that might help in some sort of way.
I dont know what to expect from the drugs the doc prescribed me?
Please bear with me, as im lost and i dont know what to do...

damn dude that sucks. I don't think painkillers or antidepressants will help much. I think you need to go on an adventure.

Holy shit man. I'm really, really sorry to hear about your wife. That really fucking sucks. It's a pretty awful situation for anyone to be in, and my heart goes out to you. Can't say I've seen many self-identified South Africans around here, but I'm sure you're not the only one. Don't kill anyone or yourself, dude, it won't bring your wife back. Are you going to run out of opiates because you don't know where to get them after her supply is gone or because you can't afford them?

Do you know the guy already or something? It's just a little strange to invite a brand new member to the forum who you've only read a couple posts of to come on "an adventure" with you - no offence, I mean yeah you're probably just friendly, but it is a little bizarre. Going on an adventure is a great idea for the guy in the near future, but dude only lost his wife ten days ago man, give him a little time to grieve. If you've just lost someone really close to you, it don't matter if you're in the ghetto or you're in Hawaii or if you're in Japan - you're gonna be pretty miserable anywhere. And I must say, I totally disagree about painkillers. Have you ever taken powerful opiates? I think they're even better at getting rid of psychic pain than they are at physical pain - there's literally no better remedy for any kind of depression or negative emotion.

i ment he should get out and ditch his home for a while, meet new friends and explore. staying in the same place after losing his wife, with lots of things to dwell on and remind him of his loss isn't a good idea imo.

or possibly I was implying an adventure into the depths of his mind and the very fabric of existence but I dunno.

surf the winds of change with a smile on your face my friend.

Are you on drugs right now or are you just a really optimistic and kinda far-out dude? Either way I like the cut of your gib man, it's really cool and chill :) and yeah dude I totally agree with both your ideas, but I think he should grieve a little first, spend a little more time processing his emotions, and THEN, when he's a litte happier, go away so he can actually ENJOY his adventure. and dude I assume you're talking psychedelics when you talk about an adventure into the depths of his mind/fabric of existence. Man, I think that's a really bad idea at this point. Set & setting dude, set & setting - taking a psychedelic just after the loss of a loved one sounds to me like a fast track to a hellish bad trip.

Lol are you on crack? You sure seem to be jumping to conclusions. And down Mr Crowley's throat. Then jumping from one idea to the next. Opiates - what a great way of getting rid of depression and negative emotion SHORT TERM... leading to a LONG TERM problem. That is actually up there with the worst advice I've seen if it's serious. :\

Can you read? The dude is already addicted to oxy. I'm just saying that ten days after your wife has died is not the best time to do a detox, and that opiates do help ease depression.

So this is what Aus Social has become? Advice to OP Should've been to determine what he's daily dose of oxy was, break that same dose in half and then split that days later to soften the effects of withdrawal. During that time he should either seek addiction assistance from a gp or begin to accumulate otc painkillers and employ cold water exctraction to once again assist with the withdrawal. That's only the drug part. OP also needs to seek some or any type of therapy. What that particular therapy may consist of is dependent upon many things, however, what I can tell you is that silly kids on the Internet is most certainly not one of those choices. We used to help ppl on this forum once upon a time. The kid telling him to stay with oxy is giving the best advice. Withdrawal is one of the most depressive and debilitating experiences a human being can go through. Telling a person in a laterally depressive situation to simply just stop could easily be interpreted as tantamount to manslaughter. When this forum was alive a post like the one I have just made would've been debated, dissected and dismantled beyond the edge of its life and someone, at least SOMEONE, would've gotten something out of it, even something helpful. Have a look at the moderator list of this forum. I am proud to be one but I'm sad to see threads like this. Eggman xxx

For the record duplicates of this thread were cross posted in three different sub-forums and they got some good replies in them. Aus social has become very inactive. Maybe you could stick around eggman and impart some wisdom on what the future should hold for this sub forum?

Sadly the only wisdom that I could impart would be for this forum to suffer sudden death. Luke, you surely know this thing (I refuse to call it a 'place' or 'group') is in that stage of a coma whereby it is logically deemed cruel. Write to alisdairm or whoever it may be and just annexe this forum. Sorry man, it is what it is.
