The reason I'm putting this in THIs forum is because it applies to this forum.
Now I never usually take notice of this stuff, I usually just read whatever takes my fancy wherever it may be, but I'm narky and I wanted to pick on someone.
The first three topics in this forum - the "Drug Discussion Forum" right at this moment are;
1. Bluelighter's Bedtime Story.. now I haven't read this yet (perhaps I should?) but something tells me it's non-directly drug related.
2. Hey Lurker's Here's Your Chance .. definitely non-directly related to drugs
and
3. Best Bluelighter Signature .. ok so this one is new and obviousy hasn't been spotted by a mod yet..
among the other inappropriates that have graced the board for some time now are:
"F**K Buddies"
and
"It's official....more e for everyone!"
Anyway, my point is, I just noticed how little moderating is being done lately. BT has gracefully taken over JB's job of inserting tons of information and links where others just can't be bothered (thanks BT).. but when it comes to general house keeping stuff, it's getting a little messy.
So I understand the JB is heaps busy, and BT sure as hell can't be doing this all on his lonesome.. where the fuck is Anjele???
whinge whinge nag nag.. all we need is someone who will move the threads to the appropriate forum and leave a nice little message saying where its gone to. Simple. Out of 3 moderators on this one forum - not one person is doing it.
*almost considering asking for moderator job back*

We already had a bit of a ... ummm 'enlighted discussion' (sounds better than bitch fest) about this sort of thing next door.
I think the main point that building a community here is extremely important and sometimes those sorts of posts help in doing that. It not only brings out people but also their personalities.
Next door may be more social by definition of its title, but not everyone is on the good side of the force.

but this has been bugging me for a few days. Ya know what they say, 'if you want something done properly, you'll have to do it yourself'.
There is a very fine line between making comments to Mods, (hell i did it in announcements the other day!) and asking too much of them. Now i don't want to get into an argument over this, because it is relatively pointless and not worth waisting breath over!

there is nothing stopping you from going into everyone of the posts you mentioned and pointing out that they are off topic. you don't need to be a mod to do that. i'm sure everyone knows the rules and just needs a little reminding now and again... and anyone is in their rights to remind...
maybe doing it in those post would have been better than starting a new thread....
so do it. you dont need a title to do it, altho mona, you can have it back any time you want.

yep yep and yep, totally agree. Most people probably dont realise but mods only have powers in "their" forums, therefore I cant do any moving myself, but all the forementioned threads need to come over to my house. It doesnt take long either, perhaps 10 -15 mins tops.
Again, the elusive question is asked "where the fuck is Anjele" (nice and tactfully put mona!!

And suuuuurre.. I could go into ever single post and tell people they're off topic, but that's not my job is it? And what would it achieve? NOTHING! It's not really worth doing unless you have magical powers to move.

Just to reiterate, I don't mean that these posts shouldn't be here at all! Hell no! I'm a big advocate of the 'getting to know the poersonalities behind the name' type posts... i was mentioning that its weird how HARDCORE this off topic thing was enforced when the aussie forum first came to fruition and now all the mods have gone soft.
IT doesn't really bother me *that* much - I was just being a bitch and wanted to call you all softcocks. I also wanted to say "where the fuck is anjele?" but didn't know how

Ummm, 'cause she can't do it herself with enough regularity (which, after all, is the problem) and the fact that I have just spoken to her, I'll speak (briefly) on Anjele's behalf.
She has an Interent connection currently that is 'crap', it is almost impossible for her to get on at nights and, during the day, she now is the proud owner of a bouncing, healthy, full-time job (eek!)...
and now, her say (when she can)...

Cammac: Mona isnt complaining about the posts or the people posting in them , she is just saying that they belong in the Rave Culture Section and not the drug discussion one.
Mr Horse why arent you a mod in drug discussion as well? Seems like a good idea cause at least then you will be able to move these threads and ones like them back and forth etc.
