"A young boy has lost his mother and is losing touch with his father and the world around him. Then he meets Hesher who manages to make his life even more chaotic."
cast:
joseph gordon-levitt
natalie portman
rainn wilson
thoughts:
i hadn't heard anyone talking about this film, saw it recently and i really enjoyed it, joseph gordon-levitt is a metal dude who is living life, and doesn't give a fuck, but in a good way. he comes into the life of a father (played by rainn) and son who are grieving the death of the fathers wife, and shows them the beauty of life. natalie portman is a cashier at a supermarket who is friends with the son and hangs out with the metal dude who is played by gordon-levitt. the themes of depression and grief are explored poignantly and the film had a positive message as well which had a gd affect on me, id rate it a solid 7.5 or 8 /10
would recommend anyone who needs something to watch to check it out, comment what you thought if you've seen it.
