Curious how long PAWS might last for a 6 month addiction consisting of 2 grams of heroin a week, plus 15 mg oxymorphone with 60 mg oxycodone nightly. the latter lasted only 3 months. 1.8 meters tall 110 kilos, 21 years of age, minor exercise.

How long might paws last, how long until withdrawal will no longer be a factor for one off uses. not looking for baseline reset, just metabolization reset.

Considering your specific drugs and tolerance i´d say proper withdrawels will last 2 weeks with paws lasting anywhere near 2 or 6 weeks on top of that. That´s my experience at least.

^ so, having said that, do you think one off uses in the future would also cause such lengthy detox?

I stopped taking my clonidine on day 6, and i thought it was over, i was having solid movements and not freaking out everywhere, its 10 days in and the shits and chills and sweat are still here, or more over returned.

I am sure you can manage, you're already 10 days in. Good job so far, the shits might take a long time to subside which is pretty weird when you think about it but when i was withdrawing from opiates that was one of the symptoms that persisted the longest for some reason. In any event it will probably only get better from now on, also, no harm in taking your normal clonidine dose for as long as it takes.

I would at least wait for 30 days from your last opiate dose before you dose up again, if that's your plan. If it is, make sure to compensate for your lower tolerance levels by taking way less than you usually would.

As to answer your question, when you have completed your detox and your tolerance has reset to somewhat normal levels you can use opiates for a day and not experience withdrawels afterwards. However sticking to using only one or two times a month will be pretty difficult if you have a reliable source for opiates.
