Heroin (Heroin)Iv'd a shot and white bumps all over arm

I registered perfectly and took the shot and after there are white bumps all over my arm. They are surrounded with red skin. I've been IVing for about a year and this has only happened once before and went away after 20 mins. The dope is kind of dirty but great quality. I still got high so I know I didn't miss.. It's been 40 mins and they are all still there. None of it hurts or itchs but I've never had this much of a reaction from a shot that wasn't even very big. It's the vein on the side of my right arm sort of close to forearm.

ALso the white bump where I shot it hurts but the other ones don't. Theres a few spots that look like white skiny veins to.

It is probably just a histamine reaction. I used to get them all the time, particularly when the dope was heavily cut with something brown (whatever it was)

yeah, most likely an histamine release. and the little sore lump at the injection site is likely from a tiny bit of solution that has leaked out during the injection process.

take an antihistamine in the future to help avoid such a reaction. 1st generation antihistamines, such as promethazine, are sedating. while 2nd generation, cyclizine for eg, are not and have depressive CNS activity, something to keep in mind.

All it takes is a tiny tiny drop of liquid to miss the vein and end up in the surrounding tissue to cause a reaction like that.
