Heroin Heroin HCL visible crystals?

Hello guys,
I don't know if I'm posting in the right sub forum, sorry if not.
If starting with heroin base which is water insoluble, clean it with water to remove water soluble stuff, and do an acid/base extraction that ends with heroin hcl in water solution, after drying and crystalisation is it possible to end up with tan colored crystals the size of sugar crystals ? Or heroin hcl doesn't have the capability to crystalise like that?
The reason I'm asking is that I couldn't find any info on this anywhere. Plus everywhere heroin hcl, even the white purified one is shown as white powder. But maybe some who purified heroin in the past have experience with this.

I don't know much about crystal structures, lattices and space groups, but I think it's very difficult to get this type of crystal - hexagonal shaped (orthorhombic) - to grow in large crystals..

But according to the link, heroin grew as large prisms (monoclinic) FWIW.
