im working on a treatment to help with depression our brains do realese these mood boosting endorphins ive heard ginsing could be one im taking d-phenylenamine it does incerase mood im just trying to get enough info as i can

ive tried many herbs to no effect...yohimbe gave me a simulating effect but also increased anxiety..best thing for you is exercise as hard as it is to do..

I found this pretty useful from Reader's Digest :)

I'v tried:

- Sniff some vanilla or lavender - lavender smell nice, but that's all - no endorfins.
- Take a group exercise class - every exercise or even light exercise, makes me feel even more crap.
- Seek out daily laughter - I've laughed once, it's was good for the moment, but that's all.
- Have sex - Nothing special, only during orgasm wich lasts only 5 sec.
- Savor some chocolate - Аbsolutely nothing related to endorfins.
- Listen to music - Nothing related to endorfins, except little dopamine activity, but slightly noticeable.
- Eat something spicy - I've read that it helps release of endorfins, but from my experience, nothing special in that too.

It's one big deception this article.

Contct a herbalist or a doctor that specializes in alternative medicine. Also try to search the web. :)

You have made it clear we cannot help you so I'm closing this.

Good luck!!
