You'll be ok, I'm sure it's tough dealing with Meth cravings and WDs - you might want to check out the Health & Recovery section of bluelight, they're much better equipped to help with anything you may be going through: https://www.bluelight.org/xf/forums/health-and-recovery.269/

I think your post will get better responses towards what you're looking for in The Dark Side. Gonna move it.

Moved. Hey man, it's good you reached out. I think you're doing the right thing, for sure. Chronic meth usage is awful for your health, both physically and mentally. I think the most important thing is to find some other stuff to fill your time with, so you're not just sitting around thinking about getting high. Do you have any hobbies that you love doing, that have fallen by the wayside because of addiction? Do you have anyone in your life you can confide in? It can really help to come clean to someone who can help support you. Keeping addiction a secret is not only isolating, it also allows you to continually relapse because you're only accountable to yourself.

My gf left me 4 months ago my for my mother is better not to know, and my father is dead. But i got 1 good friend tho that helps me alot. But when he is not around to talk or something i am fealing so down and deppresed. Like nobody, sorry guys for this but i just wanna share it out loud...

Coming off meth is definitely going to make you feel; depressed, but try to remember it will pass, it's temporary and it's the result of your brain not having enough dopamine and serotonin without meth... our brains have the amazing ability to recover from pretty much anything though, so it WILL get better. :)

By the way if you just want to get your mind off things and shoot the shit, you could try coming back to The Lounge where you posted originally, just know that people like to fuck around in there, and I didn't want you to get chased off or feel bad if someone didn't take your post seriously. It's a good place to let off some steam and get some laughs in though.

I'm glad you have a good friend, are they around?

Good for you for doing something positive about your health if your meth use was making your worried.

I had a meth problem myself years ago, I know what it can be like. I almost ended up homeless and did end up in serious debt from abusing it.
I have a good mate who just quit two weeks ago. He had been using on and off for at least the last 17 years. Smoked it. I'm currently trying to help him get through it.

You have to really want to stop using and you have to be really stubborn about it. Just keep pressing ahead, working towards your end goal.
Get good sleep. Eat healthy food. Exercise if you can, even if just going for walks.

Not sure if you're feeling like you're in a position where you can wander around town aimlessly or not, but light exercise will be very beneficial.

Also, what I found helpful was trying to reconnect with things that I thoroughly enjoyed before meth and then making a very concerted effort to get back into those hobbies or sport, or whatever it may have been.

Maybe @LadyAlkaline can help....she recently celebrated 5 years free of meth.

It's good that you have a good friend you can lean on. That's possibly the most important thing in recovery, I think. I don't know where I would have been without my friends.
