So here goes.
SITUATION
Taken a molly (light/beige) once before, cleanest roll ever with the smoothest comedown, able to sleep, absolute no sketch day after. (Note: Did not have a testing kit at time to test)
*2 month later*
Took a molly (dark/tan/brown) from another source, since was not able to get same thing. Weak roll that left me awake in bed for hours, with the worst sketch day after. TESTED with a kit, marquis = straight black within a second, simons = blue/purp, robodope = no reaction (assuming good no amphetamines)

Question
Why did the second situation turn out to be as bad as it was?
What accounted for not being able to sleep? (test did not show any faults)
  • if it was amphetamines, speed, test should've picked it up
  • was it meth or caffeine? does the kit screen for meth?
What accounted for the sketch in the second situation? (any particular drug that the kit doesn't screen for that would cause this?)

Even if I had a kit for the first batch of mollys, I'd assume I would get the exact same results. So how would i ever be able to tell the good from bad.

How well do you trust the source? Could they have some form of stimulant as a bulking agent ephidrine/caffeine - even a piperazine? Speed/meth would have shown up on the test.

Yea i was thinking it could have been caffeine/piperazine.

Ephidrine maybe.. but the roll didn't feel it at all, was not very energy boosting (was more calm) and didnt have a concentration mentality or rising body temperature that would come with taking ephidrine.

Caffeine/piperazine could be a possibility, however I am not too knowledgeable about the effects of a piperazine loaded pill. I remember reading that the side effects can include headaches, nausea, and anxiety, but i didn't feel these at all.
"Due to the serotonin agonist effects and increase in dopamine levels produced by the BZP/TFMPP combination (both type of pipe), this mixture of drugs produces effects which crudely mimic the effects of MDMA ("ecstasy") in animals, and so have been advertised as an "MDMA substitute" to consumers."

Could the piperazines be the reason for this discrepancy between the situations?

And which test would screen for meth?
The only thing would be the SIMONs test correct?
SIMON'S: a quick reaction to dark blue indicates the presence of a secondary amine. (MDMA,MDEA,Meth).

But wouldn't I want a test reaction to blue in the first place to confirm that it is MDMA? So in the end I wouldn't be able to distinguish MDMA from Meth either?

Meth turns the Marquis orange->brown, and turns Simons to dark blue. Orange Marquis means you don't have MDMA.

Oh.. I see. thanks
I don't think that's on the instructions for the kit, so didn't know that marquis showing orange/brown would indicate meth (kit says it orange/brown would be speed)

"Speed" is just slang for meth in US and Canada, and slang for amphetamine in Europe.

Identifying a MDxx + speed speed combo is not always easy. Out of the last half dozen or so pillreports I've posted on pillreports.com they have been MDxx + speed. Most other users have failed to pick it up with their test kit and have only noticed the purple/black and suspected MDxx.

If you want some help to identify a MDxx + speed combo from just a MDxx reaction please read this guide I wrote: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/showthread.php?t=427733. It has some pics to help too.
