Hello and thanks for reading, I'm in need of suggestions about management and therapy for this problem affecting me from puberty till now (I'm 36).
When I was 15 had many many black specs in face, ears and in upper back and shoulders and few cists into ear's lobe never developing infections and abscess\pus.
Few years laters (age 19-20), black specs nearly disappeared but those cists started to grow bigger and developing infections, pus, suppuration and lot of pain that required ER, lancing and following medications under antibiotic therapy with amoxicillin and clavulanic acid pills (Clavulin, Clavaseptin, Clavamox and Synulox.)
Doctors never made a bacterial culture of purulent matter because they always supposed and confirmed Staphilococcus Aureus and S.Piogens as pathogenic germs causing my problems.
Removing cists before they get infected requires my personal doctor request for a surgey specialist, usually a plastic surgeon, an evalutation of the case and arranging the surgery.
The problems is the long time to wait for get them removed because under national state health system there is a long waiting list with priority for cancer/neoplasic patients; at least 6 months.
At the moment my right ear's lobe is ping pong ball sized but I'm tired of going to ER and waiting hours to get a 25-30 minutes visit for lancing procedure, antibiotics again and a medication every 2 days until complete healing. I'm also going to Berlin from 1 to 5 may so I can't follow scheduled medications.
At the moment I have Ibuprophen 400mg, mupirocine cream(bactroban 2%), iodine solution and hot packs, I'm not confortable with lancing myself but I've done it before.
So please give me some advices on what to do now, to save my little trip to Berlin and eventually what kind of therapy and alimentation I should follow in future.
