SWIM is a 19 year old Bipolar male who has been taking pharmaceutical drugs as a method of treatment and recreational use since early adolescence. After having recovered from a very severe manic episode set off by Oxycontin withdrawals a number of months ago, SWIM has once again developed severe anxiety and an excruciatingly painful and noticeable tic in his neck (leftover effects from a 2 week Soma binge a few years back and having been on lithium for so long), which is affecting his moods and his general ability to function in social environments such as going to school, work, or going out with friends. Because SWIM is Bipolar, his doctors aren’t willing to give him the prescriptions he needs to relax his neck and ease his anxiety.

When Swim wakes up, he currently takes:
 2mg of prescribed Clonazepam: snorted/ anxiety, insomnia, muscle relaxer
 10mg black market Cyclobenzaprine: snorted/muscle relaxer
 100mg of prescribed Lamotragine taken orally/mood stabilizer
This combination keeps the pain and tic at bay, and despite his high Benzo tolerance it still makes him groggy and usually unable to manage any productive tasks (plus he thinks it’s a really boring high).

SWIM’s goal is to be pain, tic, and anxiety free while still being able to stay stable, alert, and to not get hooked on Benzos, their hypnotic ilk, and Oxy (his personal favorite<3) again.

So SWIM’s question is:
What would be the best and safest alternatives to the K-pin and the Flexeril that would be fun and crystal-headed, but effective at managing his pain and anxiety for the next few months until he finishes his acupuncture and chiropractic treatments?
