I have recently been prescribed zoloft which is an ssri. I'm a daily smoker. I also engage in activities involving lsd quite often until recently. I was given a dose of lsd that I was not used to, and I'm positive it was real l, but I had an awful trip at first, it mellowed out eventually but it was extremely nerve rattling at first. I thought I would never be the same again. I hadn't started taking zoloft until maybe 3 or 4 days after that particular trip. But on the second day of taking my medication, I decided to take a bong rip. I was suprisingly high off of just one hit and about 20 minutes into the high I got an awful anxiety attack! I tried smoking again the next day and the same exact thing happened. It was awful. I'm just wondering what you guys think? I know these aren't normal because I've rarely had them before. Like 2 or 3 times in my life. And do you think I'll eventually be able to smoke herb and not have an anxiety attack? And do you think it's induced from the lsd, or the zoloft, or something else? Thanks!

Gday. I'm no doctor and I've never tried Lsd. I have tried zo loft and a regular smoker for 20 yrs. For me the pill and weed did not mix. I tried another ssri

ebola

People I know who are prone to anxiety report that cannabis exacerbates their symptoms. I'm not sure exactly what the interaction is in your case, but I can confirm that cannabis precipitates anxiety attacks in people that are prone.

Hope that helps. Lol.

This is Sertraline and can increase anxiety initially and quite badly.

I did not get on with sertraline at all for this reason and taking other drugs with it is not a good plan.
