i'm trying to kick my heroin habit once and for all. for the past few months i have been IVing .2g-.5g per day sometimes skipping a day or two but the past few weeks have gotten really bad. i'm tired of living like this and want to get back to my normal life and try to progress in life. i'm stuck in a rut right now. i snorted a dime last night and just a line this morning to get me through the day. today i have taken 2mg xanax and 1mg suboxone. what i have on me is 23mg of suboxone and 6.5mg xanax. i am not prescribed either of this drugs, just have a good connection and i can get more anytime. i want to avoid an addiction to either one as well though. i don't smoke weed and rarely drink. so if someone could help me out and set me up a taper plan with these drugs to help me get off heroin, it would be greatly appreciated. i kind of abuse the xanax but am not addicted but i feel that they should be saved for after i'm out of suboxone, but i'm not exactly sure. i can get by with taking 2mg suboxone a day if that helps any. thanks guys. this will be a very hard battle for me but i'm confident i can do this!

Your heroin habit isn't huge. You could do a quick draw down on subs then use Xanax after you stop the subs to reduce the discomfort. If I were you, I would do it like this:
Day 1: 4mg Sub
Day 2: 4mg Sub
Day 3: 3mg Sub
Day 4: 3mg Sub
Day 5: 2mg Sub
Day 6: 2mg Sub
Day 7: 2mg Sub
Day 8: 1mg Sub
Day 9: 1mg Sub
Day 10: .5mg Sub
Day 11: .5mg Sub
Xanax as needed on the first three days as needed because it'll be uncomfortable. Then as needed for a week after because there will be minor w/d symptoms, maybe pretty not so minor depending on how you take it. I've tapered like that from your dose with no serious issues. I would also say that you might want to draw down your daily dose to .2mg, try and reduce your heroin as low as possible in the next week, then start a taper.

Yeah this is a good general taper. If .5 is too much to come off of for you, you could ween further down to .25mgs.
