Hello everyone. I have recently come across a red playboy that a friend had got, he gave me one of his to test for him. We live in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Here is a link to pics of the pill and the test result pictures.

One thing that concerns me about these pills is the amount of dye in them and how it could be affecting the test results. The dye literally smudges off of it if you touch it with any moisture on your hands. My friend ran one of the pills under the tap and so much dye came off it looked like blood. To me this seems like a sign of a amateur manufacturer, which could mean they could be completely bunk or piperazine pills.
It looks like the original color of the powder was white after breaking the pill open, as you can see specs of white where the dye didn't take.
The mandelin, marquis and mecke results all look "OK", as in they have turned dark purple/black/blue but the simons reagent got no blue reaction, and the robadope i could not notice any reaction as well, but the dye pretty much overpowered the expected reaction with that reagent. So if this pill is even active it may contain MDA most likely i would imagine.
I re did the test results for mandelin and simons with alot less powder on the pill (results 7, 8), same reactions. I also dropped some water on a bit of a pill to demonstrate what the dye alone will do(result 6).
Does anyone have any opinions on the results or experience with extremely dyed pills or potential additives to give false positives on test results?
Any help would be very appreciated.
