Opioids Help calm me down?

Hello guys

I am on a methadone taper, and i am down to 25 mg from 70. today i felt the taper quite alot! feeling restless and sad. Since i got out of bed, I've taken quite a bit of gotu kola (like, grams) and ofc. my methadone dose, and just now i took 12,5 mg of promethazine and half a tablespoon of NIGELLA SATIVA seeds, that i chewed. Could this be too much CNS depressants?

I highly doubt that what you listed above will get you anywhere near "too much" cns depressants. If you are having w/d anxiety I would recommend Phenibut for anxiety. It's available and not controlled or scheduled in the US. Of course you could find a benzo.... You are going to be having Post Acute Withdrawal after the initial withdrawal ends so you mite be in for a ride if this is your first time withdrawing
 
It is deff. not my first time, but it is my first time withdrawing from Methadone.. And phenibut is not available here in Denmark unfortunately

I agree about methadone WD being horrible. I got stuck in a psyche ward after I took too much xanax after dosing my daily 120mg of methadone. I had been at this dose for about 10 months. After coming too in the ward I was informed that they thought I had tried to commit suicide (not true, I had only taken 3 mg of xanax) but it was enough to render me unconscious. Since I was technically an "involuntary committal" there was no way for me to discharge AMA. For 18 days I endured the beginning of the methadone WD. I'd take a million smack WD's over the pure mental and physicality of methadone WD. It was compounded by the endless rat-race schedule of the ward. They offered me suboxone but said accepting it would prolong my stay. It was already going to be insanely expensive. No thanks! I just rode it out. Still a year clean as of 2 weeks ago.
 
I actually passed out on my bed with food in my mouth.. Disgusting :P But at least i slept!

I know, it will be horrible.. Ive read everywhere. Sounds horrible Orgone :( But grats on being clean for that long!

I am tapering with 5 mg a week, they wont take smaller jumps, but i asked my clinic to keep me at 25 untill im a little bit more stabile here.
When im down to 10 mg im switching to subs. That was my plan all along :)
And then tapering as fast as i can handle it (probably with some benzos to help me.)

do you guys think that will make it easier on me?
 
'done w/d are the worst. only w/d that actually made me call hotlines to talk to because the mental anguish was so bad. I looked like I was on MDMA for 2 weeks my pupils were so big. and thats from a methadoe detox from dope, only like 5 days of methadone total.
