I regret to inform you all that after many years of wonderful service to the forum as moderator, mariacallas has moved on to greener pastures. Thank you mc for all your brilliant work in HL over the years! <3

We now require a new and enthusiastic moderator to join us on the Healthy Living mod team!
Your duties as a moderator will be:
  • to be an active contributor to the forum, to build forum content and add discussion
  • check all forum threads for infractions of BLUA and HL posting guidelines, and edit as required
  • respond to reports on threads in Healthy Living
  • edit, merge, move threads to appropriate forums, as required
  • other general forum responsibilities
Please PM your application to Dtergent, n3ophy7e and fizzle by 21st February 2011.
In your application it would be handy to note the following:
  • your location
  • the amount of time you spend on Bluelight each day
  • any particular interests you have being a HL moderator and what you feel you could bring to the forum as a moderator.

Good luck to everyone who applies, and once again, thank you to mariacallas for all her fantastic work in HL. We will miss you <3

Man, everybody seems to be stepping down from mod-ship lately! Lol, k, maybe not everybody... :P

maria you always have great advice, hope that your stepping down does not mean you won't keep sharing with us :)

fizzle, i talked to her in PM and she was rude to me but thats ok, she has power here and i dont. so evidently i dont have freedom to voice my opinion.

anyway, who is her superior ? ill talk to them then ktnx.

I've just gone through and cleaned up the most recent posts in this thread to keep it on topic. Please continue to keep it on topic from here on out. Any more complaints in this thread that are off topic will receive an infraction, consider this the warning. You've been told how to handle the situation, and given a list of people to go to. Take it up with them, but keep it out of this thread.

^ fizzle with all due respect, everything posted was on the topic of looking for a new moderator on the health forums. unless of course it is a thread about wishing maria all the luck ? if so, yeh i say good luck and have fun outside this forum !
 
No, it was not on the topic of finding a new moderator, it was ganging up on a single moderator. This thread is for both wishing farewell to mariacallas, and making people aware that a new position is open. If you guys really have this big of an issue with someone whos going to be overseeing you, why would you want to apply anyway?

This is HL for goodness sakes... I've never seen so much drama in this forum. :|

Mariacallas' shoes are indeed tough to fill but we have some equally fine posters here so I have complete faith that the current staff will make a wise choice :D

mariacallas, I have always enjoyed reading your posts and although we never spoke personally, I consider you(as well as all of bluelight) a dear friend and wish you nothing but love and respect <3
Thank you very much for all the time you put in here to make this already great place even better. There isn't a person alive who could have brought what you brought to bluelight. :)
