Being only 20 years old with almost 6 years of HARDCORE drug abuse, im very worried about what i've done to my body, and continue to do 8)

Does anyone know a good route to take to test this damage? Mind you i've IVed every substance under the sun IVable, never CWE'd massive hydrocodone doses(took 14,00mg, twice) years of oxy abuse, and a good IV coke run that nearly kill me, i just dont know where to even start!

A bloodtest would be a good start. I started using drugs at 10 years old and was Hep C positive by the time I was 16, had treatment since and all clear now.

If I was 20 again, I would have done so many things differently. If you want a lifetime of misery then carry on with what you're doing, if you're lucky you'll make it to 30. Get help now, you have your whole life ahead of you, please don't waste it.

14,000mg of APAP ^ I dont want to be labeled by my doctor as an addict, but next time i need blood taken theres no way around that one! My arms aren't bad looking, my veins are just solid D:

You really need to get some help man. My pattern was no veins left (all collapsed or rock solid) at the age of 19. Started going in my groin - ending with DVT in both legs by the age of 27, literally weeks away from amputation of my right leg and my left leg was not far behind, and someone entered my life (a complete stranger) and got me off the streets to hospital then into rehab. I managed to stay completely abstinent for over a decade, however, currently fallen off the wagon - only minimal in comparison (codeine and Etizolam) and I'm in the process of detoxing now from the codeine and starting a taper from the Etizolam next Friday.

Please take a moment and think where you could/will end up without seeking help. In the decade I was clean I probably attended 40+ funerals as I started working in the field of substance misuse (not anymore though due to my relapse, although I intend to in the future once I sort this minor blip out).

The standard labs are only capable of detecting obvious damage. Your liver can be 70% non-functional and still pass the AST/ALT ratio test.

If you're young, you stop using, and you adopt a healthy lifestyle, you can repair and regenerate. The human body is very resilient and is always trying to restore balance, so if you give it what it needs it will start doing this.

The only thing is what's been done to your mind. Hardcore drug use over many years will definitely change the neurochemistry of the brain, but again, the body has amazing generative powers. You could still come out of it.

I have too many things going for me to ever think of start hitting veins anywhere else than my arms, I still have MANY veins left, but all the main ones and good hits are wrecked. But I hear what you are saying, I was free from addiction for 2 years before this last 2 month bender, literally just 2 months of tar and hardly ever missing a shot and they are trashed. I'll get passed this soon enough

If you were using cocaine and heroin at the age of 14 or even 15 or 16 you have done some serious damage to the development of your brain my man..I'd be scared to see what a CAT scan or MRI showed for you

I started using that young, around 13. In my mid twenties now.

OP, you may not want to be labeled as a drug addict by your doctor... but that is what they are there for. Find a different doc if you want to for this.

The only way to know for sure is to get a series of tests done. Everyones body is different..there are people who can use for only a short amount of time and develop complications, and there are people who can use for 10+ years and be fine.. it's just like with smoking and lung cancer. You don't know where you fall until things happen and the only way to know for sure is to get medical attention.

The use of crack/cocaine can cause heightened blood pressure. There's a plethora of problems that IV drug use can cause.

Mr. Scagnattie's suggestion to go see a doctor is the best advice anyone can give you here.
