Headaches in the back of my head on the comedown

Don't get me wrong, I love to get fried. Usually. But one effect I'm starting to experience pretty consistently when I don't intend on sleeping when I come down is an annoying sort of headache in the back of my head.

What actually aches are the muscles and connective tissues that bind the back of my head to my neck -- if you put your hand across the back of your head and tilt your head back, you'll feel the ones I'm talking about contract. It's a dull and annoying ache, but enough to make me very irritable. applying pressure there helps, but only temporarily. Although they're supposed to make some kinds of headaches disappear, I find caffeine and amphetamines exacerbate the feeling, though that could just be due to heightened perception.

I find the only thing that clears up this headache is sleep. And obviously if I just had a big ol' cup of joe or an adderall, that's not happening anytime soon. This effect really makes me only want to get stoned when I'm ready for bed, which is a shame now that it's spring and there's lots of beautiful nature to look at.

Could this headache be a sign of some more serious heath problem that could be brought on by years of near daily smoking of plants that, in many cases, were grown with an excess of non-organic hydroponic nutes and not flushed properly?

I hesitate to take tylenol period -- it's an incredibly toxic chemical actually -- especially with all the other supplements and psychotropics that are part of my life.

I honestly think your just dehydrated, this happened to me for a good two or three weeks as well.
Drink plenty of water!

Sounds like a tension headache. Or it's due to massive vasodilation from caffeine, amphetamines and the weed combined.

And one aspirin isn't going to kill you. It's not toxic, it will only help.

If it is a tension headache, I guess aspirin would be the best thing for it, since aspirin lowers blood pressure. Now that I think of it, thinning the blood and lowering the blood pressure would be a good response to vasodilation too.

It's acetominophen I'd want to stay away from. That stuff does a number on the liver, and isn't a good thing to take if you're on any drug that's also broken down in the liver and thus competing for the liver's enzymes.

Ah, but 1 tablet isn't going to make much of a difference for the liver, it really won't do any harm.
