Stimulants Have you ever had heart symptoms while using amphetamines?

If yes, what kind of symptoms?

Chest pain?
Rhythm disorders?
Tight chest?

And what did you do about it? Did you go to the ER or to a doctor?

I wonder if someone took stimulants and got chest pain then does this mean that this was at least a temporary lack of blood supply? I mean why else should you
get chest pain. And this would mean that it must be totally serious.
 
Not amp but Coke has given me chest pains a few times.

And palpitations, always, not only Coke but ritalin too. Never tried amp.

And yes supposedly chest pains are the heart muscle complaining it is not recieving enough oxygen, BUT the correlation between intensity of pain and lack of O2 is weak, so a heart attack can happen unexpectedly and when in a lot of pain the risk can be not that high.

In the end, stimulants are just bad for the heart.
 
The vasoconstriction is terrible for me when it comes to using amphetamines.
I find that taking a warm shower and drinking a lot of water helps a bit.
 
Dunno for sure but sometimes I felt like my heart was skipping a few beats. I eventually just stopped thinking about it since i didn't have any other symptom so I wasn't scared. Once I smoked some weed on the comedown and my chest was hurting a bit and my heartbeat was definitelt accellerated but nothing serious, I just rode it out I mean, I knew i wasn't going to die lol.
And yeah vasocontriction is usualy present but nothing too uncomfortable, it's funny to check your dick and see how much it shrinked :D

As for your question, anxiety can make you feel symptoms that seem totally legit but are just anxiety-related, my advice would be take a benzos if you feel uncomfortable (not too much) or stop taking stimulants.
 
I've had light chest pains, heart palpitations, and vasoconstriction before on amps. I pretty much only got it on the comedown, and it went away with no lasting effects.
 
How much amp did you guys use? Therapeutic doses or higher?

Does the vasoconstriction happen also in therapeutic doses? That would be scary.
 
Last night I smoked a point of meth (very new user, consumed all within 1 1/2 hour), and it definitely places some strain/tension on the heart while on it. At first it was noticeable, and then soon enough your whole body kind of keeps up with the racing speed of your heart, and then it becomes much less noticeable while the effects become much more pleasant. Only experienced some short-lasting, minor chest pains from it. However it wasn't until a good 10 - 12 hours for my heart to finally settle down and return to roughly normal bpm. I see its potential for addiction, this substance must be respected and I will use moderately. I have eaten 100+ MDMA pills in my past and have only recently gained interest in meth. You know you got good shit when you hardly notice a comedown, headspace almost felt like I had taken no drugs that night and was a very smooth ride from the peak to after effects aside from a pumped heart and chatty brain. I was expecting to crash and experience a stronger comedown, but have had worse experiences with MDMA. It sure as hell lasts a long time though compared to other amphs/empathogens, which in some situations is better for those hard party nights.
 
Consider switching to d-amp (Dexedrine or Vyvanse) as opposed to (what I assume you take) Adderall. The l-amp isomer of Adderall is nasty in terms of it's effect on the PNS not to mention vasoconstriction.

I made the switch to Dexedrine and although it's not a panacea I sitll found at least an 80% reduction in the physical discomfort of Adderall. Dextroamphetamine is anecdotally smoother in terms of providing CNS stimulation without the unwanted PNS stimulation. Pharmacologically speaking this should prove to be true.

There are a few times I will still skip a heartbeat (re: palpitation), however chest pain is generally a combination of muscle tension and anxiety.

TLRD: D-amp is a viable solution to overstimulation of the PNS caused by l-amp found in Adderall.
 
I have dexedrine. So far I took 7.5 mg max. I can't really say if it does much ADHD-wise but I have the impression that it's somehow smoother than 20mg Ritalin LA.
Ritalin LA makes the heart beat faster and it's annoying. You cannot calm down when you have a fast pulse all the time.
