Have i been spammed?

I had a "private message" come to my inbox several days ago......The problem is that the person who sent it to me is a total stranger, who makes no references at all to any post ive EVER made, and it has links in it to websites that sell seeds and thats all really....
I use this forum as a harm reduction tool and have NEVER sourced at all on it...
The person has 200 odd posts to there name and it dosent seem like they just made up an I.D to scam me??...Should i report it? Or am i too cyber serious?

Please report the PM so can we can suss out if further action is required.
 
In the past it was impossible to report private messages. However, they have changed the system so you are now able to do just this.

In the future, you can report any private message which is spam like you have already received one of.

Probably pissed the spammer off now as ive made it public!...Its not a huge concern if he/she gets the shits but as a newbie to BL i wanted to alert others (newbies) that its happening and what they should do if they get a spam email PM too...
I must admit, i read it a few times and wondered why the hell id gotten it! Then i realised it someone who has seen me over in another area of BL and thought id like to buy some seeds?
Is that right? Whats the point of the emails? And do many get reported?...I would assume the bulk are just deleted..
